"One thing I noticed is the diverse clientele; many of the diners are Japanese, and all the waitstaff are Japanese as well. It seems to be one of the few Japanese restaurants actually owned by Japanese people. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be the somewhat excessive playing of mainstream American pop music, although it's not too loud. This place is definitely a great spot for a date. The décor includes two flat-screen TVs that always display something captivating, like natural landscapes and wildlife."

The food is absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by their sushi as well. I really enjoyed the cocktails too.

Tried their ramen and it well compares to other ramen places like Nishiki and Underbelly. Definitely on my list of to go places from now on.

Bowls of ramen were very good, depth of flavor in every spoon. The wife had creamy chicken ramen, I had Tajima ramen and son had the spicy ramen.

Great ramen! Perfect for cold days. The spicy sesame is unbelievably good! Opted for the tajima with chicken this time and was super pleased. Will definitely be back! Matcha peach iced tea is also ace!!! View menu

This was my fourth visit to this restaurant. It’s an hour's drive from my house, but it’s definitely worth it. This is, hands down, the best ramen I've ever had. Everything is fresh, not canned, and it has just the right amount of spice, bursting with flavor. The staff is very friendly and professional, taking their jobs seriously without the eye-rolling you often see in other places these days. Keep up the great work!

So my review is based entirely on the vegan ramen I had, which was delicious! Normally I hate tofu, but this time around it actually seemed to catch flavour from the ramen. I love the inclusion of a wide variety in vegetables, it really elevates the flavor profile! Keep in mind that it was packed and we waited in line for maybe 5-10 minutes before we went up to order (from what I understood you need to order at the front desk before you sit down)

I appreciate how this restaurant incorporates all the essential features of a great Japanese dining experience, yet it offers a more concise menu where every dish feels like a signature creation. The drink selection follows the same concept—there aren't a lot of options, but each one is a notch or two above what you'd typically find elsewhere, and the prices are surprisingly lower than average. It's truly a unique and impressive concept. Everything we tried was excellent. View menu
