"My receipt does not show that I ordered a Caesar salad, but that is what I asked for and I was not served a true Caesar salad. When I was at the front placing my order I had stated that I only wanted the dark part of the romaine in my salad. But theyended up giving me a different kind of salad that had sour dill pickles and other toppings that I did not want. I asked for amanager right away, but the lady named Nicole may have only been a supervisor. But she claimed to be the manager of thatlocation. All she had to do was chop up a little bit of the dark hearty part of the romaine lettuce, and not try to charge meall over again for a whole new $5 dollar salad! She raised her voice at me, rolled her eyes, and demanded that I pay twice! Shelacked basic human kindness because she was very argumentative. She even yelled across the room and made a scene because Iwalked away and would not accept the salad. She belittled me in front of the whole restaurant during a very busy time of theday. I regret bringing my guest to this location to have to witness horrible treatment from a supervisor. Also, I didn't order asandwich because their bread is dry the majority of the time. They are so chintzy with the meat as well. Does not match any ofthe pictures of the sandwich image portrayals. It is clear that the new owner is cutting back on the quality of thedeli-undelicious sandwiches."

"The decor is charming, and the breakfast options are fantastic. While there’s not much in the way of healthy choices, everything looks absolutely delicious! I had a hard time deciding between the chicken and biscuits or the chicken-fried steak served with cookies. The staff recommended the chicken-fried steak with cookies as my main dish and a side of gravy, and I went for it—great choice! My dining partner ordered some beautiful pancakes topped with fresh fruit, which were truly the best I’ve ever seen. It ended up being a great last-minute decision."

"I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience overall. The meal was reasonably priced, falling in the $20–30 range per person. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Piccata and the Pork Schnitzel; both dishes were delicious. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a score of 5. The staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing the dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant deserves a 5 as well. It created a warm and inviting setting that made our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dinner!"

"Visiting from East Tennessee I wasn’t sure what to expect from California bbq. We went hungry and weren’t disappointed. We ordered The Mammoth and had tons of food. The meat highlights of The Mammoth were the tri-tip, brisket, ribs and the side highlight would be the loaded baked potato salad. I almost forgot about the sausage! Mercy that stuff was the best cased meat could be! There were four adults sharing this and we had a good amount of food leftover. I also ordered their house beer and it was really good short of an $8 beer being served in a plastic cup. If my only gripe of the whole meal was a plastic cup I think life must be pretty good. If you’re in Oakhurst you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not eating there. Don’t be turned away if the line is out the door. It moved surprisingly fast."

"The staff was excellent, the presentation was very good, wine server and selection was wonderful. The menu was the most disappointing. Very limited for a French American restaurant. The two selections were a 3 course and a 5 course. The 2 choices were identically the same with the exception of the 5 course had one additional item, greens and grains. Not sure how they came up with 3 when it should have been 4 or 5. Sea urchins, Ahi tuna, smoked trout in a broth (so,so), Duck. No Hors D'euvres, escargot, beef,chicken , pork, sauces. We chose the 5 course and my wife may have taken two bites. The 5 course was $145 each, we ordered a bottle of wine, excellent, for $153 and one additional glass. The bill came to $614 and I added a 20 gratuity. The next morning I realized the bill should have been in the $445 $460 range. Not sure if the gratuity was included for serving two people, if so the server should have informed me."
