"Taki Sushi is a gem in Washington Park. Our kids live in the area and frequent this place, and wanted to take us there while we were visiting from Cincinnati. It will now be a regular go-to when we visit! The staff is very friendly and our server, Art, was great. It's too bright inside, and could do with some toning-down and warming-up the lighting. For appetizers we ordered the kid's favorite; Garlic Broccoli. It was cooked perfectly and we asked for the extra sauce to be put in a cup to dip into the rest of the dinner because it was that good. We also had the Cucumber Sashimi off the appetizer menu. It was extremely fresh tasting and the cucumber was the perfect compliment to the tuna. The Yellowtail Jalapeño Hamachi was fabulous. I cut up one ring of jalapeño per bite of cod and it was perfect. And I never miss a chance to order Miso Black Cod if it's on a menu. This version was executed perfectly and presented with nicely cooked asparagus. We followed up with four different sushi rolls. Every single one was so fresh and delicious. The sake and the Rose wine were both delightful as well. Two other great aspects of this place is that they are open till 10pm and reasonably priced! This is actually a 4.5 star review if I could do that."

Tucked away a couple blocks from bustling Broadway, this quaint sushi spot offers fantastic food. It's not big at all, so sometimes there is a wait, but the food is worth it. I've been to Japan three times, and this is the only place I get sushi in Denver.

This classic is down to earth, laid back and fresh. The sushi is fresh, delicious and fast. The staff is kind, attentive and informative. The menu is jam packed with fantastic dishes and the atmosphere doesn't demand anything other than an appetite. With prices like these it's the kind of place to visit weekly. View menu

We ordered the sushi sashimi combo for 2, with a wrinkle which included the special roll of the day. It was a taste treat not only for my mouth and stomach, but also for my eyes. Every peice was tastefully arranged, and not only delicious, but Zenfully Delicious. When you visit Denver, make this a place to stop.

Absolutely loved the meal at Taki Sushi! Was able to have a bit of everything included sushi: toro, hamachi, spicy tuna as well as some make: crunchy roll and another one with fresh tuna on top with the japanese mayo. Everything was delectable and the service is top notch. It's a great little gem that is easily missed, but hopefully you'll trek down to have some of the freshest sushi in CO.

My kids love sushi. They love the taste. They love the presentation. They love the atmosphere. We don't take them for it often (mostly special occasions due to the price). When we do go for Sushi in Denver, we go to Taki. They always take good care of us. They explain the menu to the kids, they are patient, and the chef makes excellent rolls and sashimi. We are welcomed as a family and treated very well and always leave well fed. This is a great place for any occasion, but especially for special occasions. View menu

I am pretty picky about sushi. I have been to a lot of sushi restaurants that were supposed to be really good, only to be really disappointed. Taki was recommended highly by people that know food. They told us not to expect much in terms of decor or ambiance. What Taki lacks in flash, they make up for in service and quality. The sushi is fresh, reasonably priced, and served quickly. The Salmon Tartar was absolutely amazing. I almost ordered it for dessert! I can't go as far as to say it was the best sushi, ever, but I can say, without hesitation, I will definitely go back.

I went to Taki Sushi last week with my daughter and was not disappointed. The quiet atmosphere in a quaint neighborhood in SW Denver reminded me of similar areas in New York City and Portland. We went early to avoid the evening rush and were served quickly and attentively. We sat at the sushi bar and shared a delicious Salmon California Roll--I can't recall the exact name. My daughter ordered udon noodle soup with vegetables, and I ordered one of my favorite Japanese dishes: chicken katsu. My katsu was done perfectly; crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion was so generous that I took almost half of it home. Next time I will share a main course so that I can try some of t...

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado! The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."
