I was in penns grove for work and it was lunchtime, but not too many choices. I came over this diner, so let's try. after I sit a waitress.

I found a diner in salem county, the talk of the towne diner. When I stopped at lunchtime on Saturday, it wasn't too crowded, and I was fast.

Make sure you read fine print when ordering. Two breakfast went from 8.79 to 13.54 because I added cheese, onions and rye bread for my toast. View menu

This is a nice place to get breakfast. Pancakes are great. The scrambled eggs are delicious and the sausage is tender and full of flavor. I recommend this restaurant if you want a good breakfast spot to get good food.

I?ve been here before but not for many years. We had a small group and we ate at a time that the crowd was light. We appreciated the service and attention to details from our server. She paid attention to our needs and requests. Any staff we had contact with was kind and courteous. Hopefully, it won?t be so long until our next visit. View menu

I went to this restaurant in hope to have me a tasteful veal cutlet dinner instead of I got a vein fried hard with brown gravy over everything There was no taste at all I called the waitress, and she shook her head and offered me some other chicken croquettes, so I said, okay she served it I tasted it and it was terrible, so I asked for the check to pay for a meal. Food was just ok. Nothing special about it. The diner just had a very bad look to it inside not welcoming at all. The staff were using foul language the whole time we eating and talking about as if were not even there. The only good things I can really say are the food was hot and fresh and they have a large menu with lots of different specials but overall I wouldn't recommend even trying this place. There is a diner a few miles down the road that's worth the trip.

I?ve only been here twice, but after the second time coming tonight, I?d definitely like to stop in more. Not many diners in the area offer a salad bar, and being a bariatric patient, it?s right up my alley! They offer a soup/salad combo for $12 that comes with a large bowl of soup and all you can eat salad bar. There are a lot of topping and dressing options. They also offer macaroni and potato salad on the bar. Both of them lacked flavor in my opinion, but I did enjoy the rest of the salad bar. The blue cheese dressing was wonderful, as some diners make it super watery. This one was thick and flavorful.
