"Bruhhhhh… this was probably one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had and I’ve had some experiences! One of the things I loved most about this place was that there was a tab for SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY on their website. Not a footnote! A full tab with a list of the organizations they support. That made me love them before the experience. Five hours later, this place is family. Family! The entire mood, the energy is so welcoming. Now! The important part. Their happy hour is the standard for great food, drinks, and service. When I say we left with the staff … last ones out! Already making plans to visit at least monthly! Get the bacon wrapped dates. The mushroom. The salmon. The chocolate bite is just enough. I’m floored. Sit at the bar. Make friends kinda spot! If you have bad energy, don’t go and kill our vibe. If you wanna feel like a warm hug, come by and look for me!"

One of the weaker tapas restaurants I’ve been to in Chicago. Tried several recommended dishes and none were really stand out. Service was great though Ambiance and decor were also very dated

We had a great experience as always. Manager and service staff was very attentive to our needs. Food and drinks was excellent. This is our second visit within a month and my wife and I are looking forward to returning . View menu

Delicious food. Great wait staff. Would be an ideal place if we didn't have to ask for the cleaner glasses every time. They need to change their dishwater. Otherwise, a great place.. Would still recommend for food and ambiance.

Tasty takes on tiny plates! Great for larger parties to share and talk. Went with a group that I was meeting for the first time, and left fast friends. You don't get that type of experience at other restaurants. The food was amazing, and there is a lot of variety.

Service was prompt and very helpful as half our table was not familiar with the tapas style. They do a great job of explaining the process, describing the dishes as they come, and answering any questions. All of the plates were delicious and I am looking forward to going back and trying more View menu

I loved the tapas. I was not expecting the tortilla española to be ice cold. Room temperature would have been fine. Ice cold eas a bit shocking. We also ordered salmon, patatas bravas (my favorite! and queso de cabra. All were accompanied by a flight of sangria. The white wine with peach was the best!

Googled a tapas place in the city to try. Was not disappointed! This hidden gem was amazing! Ordered drinks and plenty of hot and cold tapas to try. Every one was amazing! Will definitely be going back. Brian was an amazing waiter-explained how the food was made and what was in it. Was a great experience.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
