"Now, onto the food. I ordered the Vaca Frita, and it was incredibly dry and lacked seasoning. The same goes for the Masitas de Puerco—very dry and devoid of flavor! I understand that they might tone down the seasoning to cater to local tastes, but the cooks should definitely take note of the Latino customers and amp up the flavor. Rice is one of the cheapest ingredients in any Latin or Caribbean restaurant, so there’s no excuse for serving stingy portions, especially when you have Latino diners! Those tiny containers of rice are barely enough for a child. Also, white rice and black beans should be served separately; if I wanted them mixed, I would have ordered Moro. On a positive note, I’d like to give a shout-out to the young lady who made our Cortadito. She did a great job, although she added too much milk, turning it into more of a Café con Leche! This restaurant will likely do well in the area since locals don’t have much to compare it to, but they should be aware that every now and then, customers who know authentic cuisine will come through. As for parking, there’s a two-hour free option available."
