"The service is the worst. All the waiters hide out behind the counter you would have to attempt more than 3 times to get their attention with only 1 other family in the entire restaurant. We were in the buffet and all the food was bad even with just 1 other family in the entire restaurant they were always short on Naans and had to wait like every 5 mins. Rice was hard and dry. Every curry was very sweet and no spice at all and the only sweet option was mango custard which was super watery. Overall they could have done so much better for the price."

The food and service were excellent. The dining area is spacious. The buffet was not only delicious but also very affordable. The manager was fantastic!

I ordered the butter chicken and there was virtually no flavor. Go to dakshin next time you are considering indian. It’s just right across the street and tremendously

If you are looking for authentic Indian food, don’t sleep on this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Priced just right! We came for a Purdue tour and so glad we chose this restaurant.

This is the best Indian restaurant near the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, IN. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food, as well as the affordable prices — it's cheaper than many restaurants in larger cities. During my four-day stay in West Lafayette, I dined here three times. It's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine.

This restaurant is a disservice to Indian cuisine. The food quality is subpar, and the recipes are inauthentic. To all Americans, I sincerely apologize—the dishes served here do not represent true Indian cooking, but rather a disappointing attempt by a profit-driven owner. Please don't waste your money here; it’s a shameful representation of the beautiful country of India.

The food here is fantastic, but the wait times are incredibly long. Expect to wait over 50 minutes for a single dish, regardless of the time of day. While the restaurant has a spacious dining area, you should plan to spend at least an hour whether you're dining in, taking out, or placing an order. Prices are slightly higher than those at Dakshin across the street, but the portions are larger. As for parking, there's retail parking available under the granite apartment building. View menu

I enjoyed the restaurant and the variety of food available. However, I was frustrated by their odd rule regarding the buffet – you’re not allowed to use bowls for curry dishes, and if you do, it costs an extra $2. It’s really inconvenient to have to eat curries off a single plate, as it tends to get messy. I urge management to reconsider this policy. Also, please remind your staff to be more courteous to all guests. As for vegetarian options, I can't speak to the vegan choices.

The food lacked distinct flavor and felt more mechanical than enjoyable. The buffet was quite standard, but the freshness of the dishes was its redeeming quality. While the service started off polite and friendly, it seemed to decline once the language barrier became apparent. The atmosphere was difficult to gauge, as I couldn't tell if the negativity I observed on some guests' faces was due to external factors or the overall environment. I likely won't return, but it could serve as a decent introduction to Indian cuisine for newcomers.
