"I wish I had taken a pic of my food but I was too Mad!!! I've been going there for about 3 years now since I found out about them. I normally go to S Dallas which I'll have to start back driving to because this place can't stand a chance against Elaine's. I ordered Two Large meals: oxtails j chicken. Why did I receive nothing but bones when you order Large it's supposed to be a large main entree which is supposed to be the MEAT not....they gave us an entree large rice. You talk about being PISSED!!!!!! All I know is that I'll never return to just give someone my money for nothing but bones rice. I'll drive to Elaine's (high gas or not) because there you'll be never be done that way). All bones and no meat, what the Hell did I pay for RICE!!! Come on y'all."

We have eaten here a few times. My wife and I have diarrhea twice from eating there now. The food is great and full of flavor, but something isn't right there

It was very disappointing. The seafood was undercooked and potatoes weren't cooked at all. Extremely spicy and dry. No butter on anything. Will not order seafood from here ever again. Waste of 50 bucks. Rated minus 20 zeros.

The food is tasty on a good day. The portion size is not worth the money, we just spent $33.02 on a large oxtail plate and two meat pies. My husband requested white rice and extra gravy on the side. Neither happened. I guess a large 5 oxtails and a tiny pile of bone pieces! Last time we get played! View menu

By far the worse Jamaican food I've tried. I have never needed salt for Jamaican food. I ordered curry chicken rice (one of my favorite dishes). You couldn't even taste the curry. The rice was some type of instant 10 min rice. I can tell. Wow. 1st last time. I'll attach the receipt as proof I was at this place. Very disappointed.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Do not eat from here unless you want raging diarrhea. My family ate here and within a couple of hours we all got very sick. This the only place we all had ate. I was even more horrified to read others with the same experience. I can't believe they are still in business something is not right with how they prepare food or someone is there spreading bad germs. Stay away if u don't want stomach cramps and diarrhea for 24 hours.

These reviews of people saying the food tastes bad are the furthest things from the truth! And for the record the portions are meant for two... my aunt and I shared a rib plate. So the prices are fair. I've ordered here twice, months apart, and it was good both times. just makes me sad to see people saying all these negative comments when take a step back! When have we EVER had something like this on our side of town?? I will make a point to come in since I've only ordered online. Keep up the good cooking please! And j is supposed to be spicy duh! Why are y'all complaining about the spice? View menu

This is quite literally the most seasonless food I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the rundown reggae pasta with shrimp. They say the cooked it in coconut milk and spices but honestly it taste like they just boiled the nooodles, cracked open a can of coconut milk and put it in the cooked pasta then added a few peppers 4 shrimp. ohh and the “curry” mashed potatoes just had one measly layer of curry seasoning sprinkled on top of the potatoes and the festival was burnt and taste of old grease. I’m thoroughly disappointed. I see that they’ve had good reviews in the past so maybe this was just a one time thing. Either way, im very disappointed with this meal.

Had the pasta and I wish I could post the picture here on how watery the sauce was. Had no substance whatsoever. $31 to have chicken and shrimp and the chicken wasn't even breast it was a jersey chicken leg with the cartilage chopped up as well and about a cup worth of large shrimp. The bell pepper was still crispy as if they were raw. I didn't enjoy it at all. Especially with the noodles being overcooked. But then again I've never heard of Jamaicans making pasta well so I probably should've tried something different. My boyfriend had the fried chicken drumettes, they were a little salty but had a good crunch. Peas and rice were ok, and you could taste the salt in it too. The stemed cabbage...

"The only reason this restaurant, if that’s what they call themselves, gets a star is because they have a decent wine list at a reasonable price. Otherwise, our experience tonight was absolutely miserable. A group of healthcare professionals booked a table to celebrate a milestone achievement for one of the programs at the nearby hospital. We ordered two bottles of quite expensive wine worth about $500. Never mind that they didn’t have our first choice; it happens. Then, after quite a long wait, the appetizers came. I have never seen a bruschetta served as pieces of cheap, mushy bread toast separate from the toppings, which came in a salad bowl. It was pretty much a “make your own bruschetta,” and it tasted disgusting. The olives and cheese plate were tasteless. We shrugged it off and ordered the main entrees. Five of us ordered the same main course. After at least 20 more minutes, the waitress returned to inform us that “unfortunately, the dish we had ordered is not available.” By that time, one of us, who had ordered an appetizer as an entree, left without being served because she got tired of waiting. We were quite shocked by the casual, nonchalant attitude, but as we were very hungry, we went with alternative choices, all of which arrived overcooked. Another waiter bringing the dishes had no idea who was ordering what and just threw the plates on the table. Worst of all, there was zero remorse or apology from the staff or the manager, and of course, the check had arrived in full, including the 18% “big party tip.” I won’t even go into minor details, such as the absolutely horrendous French onion soup, forgetting sugar, water, and wine glasses, etc. I don’t know if this establishment has management (no one came to talk to us), but if so, you should be ashamed of how you treated us tonight. Your staff’s attitude was ridiculous, and they obviously take no pride whatsoever in what they do. We paid in full and left. If any of you guys happen to be at the nearby hospital (God forbid), please do come see us. We will teach you what “taking good care of people” is all about, from A to Z. Shame on you for ruining our evening."
