"1) I had planned to watch the Women's World Cup game at the Tavern, and I called ahead to confirm they would be showing it, which they assured me they would. However, when we arrived, the seating inside was very disorganized, and to our disappointment, they couldn't actually show the game because they don't have access to Fox. The staff treated us quite rudely, so we ended up leaving to find another place to watch the game. 2) A few nights later, I wanted to enjoy the outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the mountains. This experience was much more pleasant, as it seemed they prioritized the outdoor diners over those inside. The food was good, but they still seemed to lack enough staff to properly serve the entire restaurant."

jacob, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. He has often checked us and brought us everything we wanted. menu is good for non-meat eater and they even have a vegan / vegetarian menu that is hard to find in vail! View menu

Jade was our server, and she was fantastic. There were four of us, and each of us ordered a different salad and entrée. The portion sizes were generous, so we ended up taking half of our salads home. They also have an excellent selection of wine and cocktails. The ambiance was lovely as well.

that was the worst experience we had in the tavern. at first they were completely chardonnay and cabernet weeping on glass. the restaurant is located in a high-end hotel. I asked about dressing on the side of my duck salad and it came up with dressing. eating my man was tasteless. we were quite disappointed as we always had a good experience. for the price you will find much better eating and service
