"we came here on a weekday at 8 o'clock and it was still open to one of the restaurants. we ordered a small tom-yum soup with tofu, a beef greenery and a chicken pillow thai. the food was tastier as expected and a good price compared to other Thai restaurants nearby. tom yum suppe is a little more acidic than average and a large appetit opener- contains many vegetables. the green curry was my favorites because the taste perfect-spicy, salty, sweet balance, maybe it would be better if it were a bit thicker. the pad thai was nice and damp, but I prefer if it were a little less sweet. portioning is a decent size, not too large or small."

Everything was delicious except dessert. The mango with sticky rice was not what I expected. I'm use to fresh from the steamer sticky rice and sweet mangoes. I didn't get my dessert craving satisfied from here. View menu

We ordered pad see ew with chicken and vegetarian version with tofu. A milder and a spicy one. We also ordered fried chicken from JFC, which is made in the same kitchen for the next door. All dishes were excellent.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Sunnyvale. They have so many various meat, vegetarian and vegan options. The flavor is really authentic. And the service is fantastic really friendly and helpful staff! Don't forget to treat yourself to a Thai Ice Tea with your meal!

The main thing Salmon Curry, the curry was delicious, but the salmon was little dry. Tom yum soup was refreshing and good. The pineapple meat was also unique and very tasty! Sitting outside was perfect, dog friendly! Came back for pineapples fried rice, it was so brilliant! View menu

Had a nice dine in dinner on a Wednesday! This is a nice, cozy spot that looks to be your typical family owned establishment. Our service was amazing, the food was delicious, hot and plated beautifully and overall left a great impression! Thai food can be iffy but this place knows what they’re doing. I definitely suggest the fried banana at the end!

One of the Best Thai Dine in destinations in Sunnyvale, sply when you are near by Murphy's Avenue Sunnyvale downtown. The staffs are very friendly. Food are very tasty. We tried Tom Yum chicken soup, Monterey catch, Drunken noodles. This place generally don't need prior reservations but better to keep some buffer time in hand. Free parking available opposite to Sunnyvale station and other end of Murphy's Avenue. Getting a free parking should not be an issue.

"Great place, great food. My family and I go here regularly as the rest of them are vegetarian. Merit successfully breaks the stereotype that vegan food protein is missing, and that the only thing that vegans eat is salads and is hands down one of the best restaurants in Santa Clara County. Food: I had most of their menus and it never disappointed me. The variety of specials they always leave something new to try to bring me back. Some of their dishes lack gravity and can be very dry, so if you order more than one dish, make sure that at least one engraving has. My favorites are the Spicy Delight and the Golden era, of which I would highly recommend to get if you have never before in Merit. Your desserts are all milk-free and ice-free, but you really can't say it; my vegan dessert exploits cannot hold a candle to the cakes they bake. However, they are frozen and in a refrigerator in the dining area that I really do not like to see, but at least they are open about it. Service: Service is always fast and all service employees are familiar with the menu. All waiting times are reasonable and I have never been hungry to regret the waiting period. Staff really try to help what I can't say about many of the restaurants I was. The ambience: nothing to complain. Everything is well lit, and there is always enough room to eat. Overall: If you are looking for a vegan restaurant that is slightly different than usual, or just a good restaurant in general, Merit is and always at the top of my list!"
