"The next morning, however, we were confronted by someone claiming to be "the head of security." We explained that we had received different information the night before. Instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, he insisted we were trespassing if we didn’t pay immediately. He also denied our request to speak with the hotel manager, stating, "I represent the hotel." This escalated, leading to an argument between my husband and him, which resulted in him calling the police and asking us to leave. He went so far as to say we would have to pay for our remaining two nights despite being forcibly removed. I found myself needing to contact the third-party site through which I booked our stay, spending my vacation working to secure a refund. We've emailed and called the hotel’s headquarters but have yet to receive any response. The overall experience felt like dealing with a mafia-run operation, lacking any sense of customer service. It's quite ironic for a hospitality business. Save your time and energy and choose another hotel—there are plenty of excellent options in D.C."

Swanky chill vibe surrounded by a culinary goldmine. Added so much to the trip. Sunrise through the church windows with a golden latte and a book. Happy hour before heading out or great dessert after a long day on the city.

Fantastic service and a relaxed atmosphere. They’re dog-friendly! The food and drinks are impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a laid-back place to enjoy dinner or drinks. We’ll definitely be returning!

The resturant doesn't exist anymore.. we made a reservation for a resturant that doesn't exits in the line somehow. The food we were served was great, but it wasn't brother and sister. Apparently, the original chef left. Idk how I'm able to make reservations for a place that is no longer there. View menu

Went to The Line Hotel for afternoon Tea on a Saturday. The atmosphere was wonderful, beautiful building, and the tea and treats were stellar. We had creative dishes and exotic tea, and I appreciated that we got to pick which tea cup to use. The manager at the front knew my name and greeted when I checked in and said goodbye when I left. The only thing I'd improve upon is the speed of service- it was a bit slow, but our waiter was attentive. I realized that they also had a wedding going on (in a different space) the same time we were there, which contributed to the slow-down. I will definitely go again.

I was looking forward to trying The Line after a friend's recommendation, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The fried green tomatoes tasted like tempura without any filling, and the garden salad was overly drenched in dressing and not particularly enjoyable. The entree was quite disappointing as well. To top it off, I found a lively little beetle in my salad. Normally, I wouldn't mind such a thing if the food were good, after all, veggies and beetles can coexist. However, the dishes fell short. The fresh strawberries were just that—strawberries—but surprisingly, they were my favorite part of the meal. On a positive note, the Manhattan was quite tasty, and the service...
