"The next morning, however, we were confronted by someone claiming to be "the head of security." We explained that we had received different information the night before. Instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, he insisted we were trespassing if we didn’t pay immediately. He also denied our request to speak with the hotel manager, stating, "I represent the hotel." This escalated, leading to an argument between my husband and him, which resulted in him calling the police and asking us to leave. He went so far as to say we would have to pay for our remaining two nights despite being forcibly removed. I found myself needing to contact the third-party site through which I booked our stay, spending my vacation working to secure a refund. We've emailed and called the hotel’s headquarters but have yet to receive any response. The overall experience felt like dealing with a mafia-run operation, lacking any sense of customer service. It's quite ironic for a hospitality business. Save your time and energy and choose another hotel—there are plenty of excellent options in D.C."
