"I discovered Bad Bagel thanks to the NYC Bagel Passport promotion and decided to return because I really enjoyed the quality of the bagels and cream cheese spreads. This time, I chose a whole wheat everything bagel with cucumber-dill cream cheese. The bagel had a nice chewy interior with a good balance of sweet and salty flavors, and a slightly crispy exterior. The cucumber-dill cream cheese was thick, smooth, and rich, with a refreshing hint of cucumber and dill. The combination of the everything bagel and the cucumber-dill cream cheese made for a satisfying and filling lunch sandwich. The space was clean and well-maintained, with some seating available in the front. The service was average but suitable for a casual bagel sandwich place. This was the only bagel spot I had tried in Bushwick, and it was a pleasant discovery in the area."

Great spot for a bagel. Lots of good options. Service was a bit long but it was worth it.

Actually the worst bagel ever! They don’t lie! I got the gluten free bagel and it was $20 and solid as a rock :

Delicious veggie omelet. The gluten free bagel exceeded my expectations and tasted yummy. Definitely recommend for gluten free and vegetarians. Food was fresh and the place felt clean.

I wanted this awesome bagle stuffed with ham, salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato, and while eating, I discovered this disgusting, dead bug on my cheese. I could not devourer my sandwich!!

Quality control at this place needs an upgrade. Mind you this is after I told them to cook my omelette like an actual omelette not just a scrambled mess. A win for a loss. Thanks bad bagel not really. View menu

The food was average, there are much better bagel spots in NYC. They charged $6 for supposedly "fresh" squeezed orange juice that tasted expired. Most places that offer freshly squeezed orange juice serve it freshly made, not bottled up and old. I hope I don't get sick now.

Bacon egg and cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel, bagel was good, the bacon tasted funky. They were super busy in there, definitely a neighborhood spot. Parking is tough, the street is a little dodgy. But inside seems like a reputable place. I wouldcome back for the bagel

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
