"We have been loyal customers of Salishan and the Attic Lounge for many years, but stopped coming when the menu turned to plant-based options. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the menu now offers meat and seafood choices. Finally! Our meal was fantastic. We ordered the shrimp and crab cocktail, clam chowder, and flatbread with pepperoni. The cocktail came with 6 large shrimp, delicious crab, and a house-made cocktail sauce. The clam chowder was some of the best I have ever had, without any potatoes as filler. My husband loved the flatbread. Our server, Natalie, was outstanding. We were impressed with the new carpet and wooden chairs. It would be great to see a return to the classy, upscale decor that we remember, rather than the current Ikea-style chairs and macrame plant hangers in the lobby. Comfy leather furnishings would be a much better fit for this beloved resort."

Food was not good at all. Terrible value for the price and quality. Our server was very sweet and hard working. View menu

We had the tacos. The plate and food was cold. Ate about half of it and threw it away. We were hungry and was disappointed. Waste of money.

The atmosphere was alittle dingy. The halibut portion was quite small. It was off season, and that is probably why the place was understaffed.

We had a lovely table reserved by the fireplace. We had the jalapeño Mac and cheese and a flatbread pizza, as well as chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and service was quick. View menu

The Attic Lounge looks great and they have a great free pool table, if the heat had been on making it cozy that would have been more comfortable. The food was just okay, the rice was underdone and the fish lacked flavor. The service was great, the staff was welcoming and attentive.

"The Bay House has lost its magic. Every year, since The Bay House opened, we would have the most spectacular dinner, in such a lovely, cozy, and charming environment. The food, service, and view we’re always spectacular. We recently went to their new location at Salishan and quickly realized it had lost all of its charm. It’s the exact opposite of what it used to be. It’s dark, the tables are spread out in the middle with only a few booths off to the side, making it feel more like a cafeteria. The overly loud music was more roadhouse than the elegant jazz they used play. The wine list came out in a dollar store 3 ring binder. When we we were brought the menu, we were “invited” to order 3 items a starter, a salad, and a main. We are a family of very light eaters and always split a meal as normally it is just too much food. When we placed our order to split a steak main course and a halibut main course (between 3 of us) our waitress said she would have to ask the manager. To her credit, she was LOVELY and apologetic and gave us excellent customer service. She was just bound by these new and ridiculous rules. The 2 stars are not a reflection of her service, but rather the entire experience. As we waited for their decision on how we should eat, we decided that perhaps we should just drink our wine and go elsewhere. This was already not a great experience. I checked the website before writing this review to see if I had just missed the mention that you HAD to order 3 things and I did not. The menu literally says A La Carte. The manager came over and we let him know we were going to leave. His reaction was one of clear frustration with us and he said something to the effect of, “You’re leaving before we even had a chance to see if we could accommodate you.”. At this point, there were just too many marks against and we wanted to eat somewhere that was not going to dictate how much we had to eat or order. Unfortunately, this was the last time we will visit The Bay House and will just have to fondly remember it’s glory days. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"
