"Really, really excellent food. We ordered the vegan cheeseburger pizza, the pulled pork, vegan Buffalo chicken, and some curly fries and were very impressed. Vegan pub food is borderline impossible to pull off without using Daiya cheese, which is essentially plastic...but the cheese on our pizza was amazing and tasted great. The pizza was fully cooked, slightly charred, and had really great flavor. Both sandwiches were a hit and the curly fries were great also. The only downside so to speak is that we are moving in a few months and won’t be nearly as close the The Commodore!"

Very disappointing experience. The food was bland. Also, the cabbage was burnt and had a bitter taste.

The times listed are inaccurate. Not open during times listed as open...phone just rings and no one is there in person. View menu

Great vegan sandwiches, larger than average portion sizes, well-labeled menu. Get the curly fries--you won't regret it!

This is an excellent venue for hosting events, and the food and bar are fantastic! They have a rich history in the community, and I can't wait for them to reopen.

We just moved to the area and this was our Thursday night spot for cocktails. I really liked popping in for a drink small bar with nice bartenders plus jazz. It’s a quirky place to hang out. Hoping it reopens soon! View menu

Not the place to go if you're looking for a fun night out. Also not the place to go if you're hungry or thirsty. Unless you are prepared to wait 30 minutes for a water and an additional 30 minutes for food.. don't bother. They will however come by your table to take a picture of them lighting a candle on your table for a Facebook post. I feel bad for the bartender who noticed we were sitting there for 20 minutes before even being approached. He came over and got our drink order. Just a complete mess.

I'm really pleased to see this restaurant open again. There's a significant demand for more vegan options in the area, and this was one of our favorite local spots. It seems that the chef may have changed, but there are still many delicious vegan options on the menu. I'm hopeful they'll reintroduce the vegan brisket pizza. We enjoyed both the vegan Caesar salad and the vegan buffalo chicken pizza – they did not disappoint. I believe people should overlook any negative experiences they had here during the pandemic, as we never encountered any issues.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
