"Finding a place to eat in Henrietta, NY isn 't hard. Trying to convince some family members and acquaintances/ friends to look past the generic national chains and try something locally owned can be. Found the Distillery on a Google Maps search after said acquaintance kept rattling off the names of bland corporate restaurants, and even then, getting them to give this restaurant a chance felt like pulling teeth. So, were my Herculean efforts to Eat Local worth it? The Distillery is a Rochester area sports bar type restautant. The Winton Road location appears to be a newer building and doesn 't have that old, shabby feeling that some sports bars tend to have. Plenty of TVs to catch whatever game you want to watch. The bar is the central focal point; the restaurant 's booths and tables all surround it. For dinner, I had the Atlantic salmon on a bed of rice and a side substitution of fries. The salmon was nicely seasoned but it was a small filet considering the price. Fries were fine but I 'd probably skip the rice next time. Maybe I overlooked it, but I didn 't see steak on the menu. Service was attentive, no complaints on that front. All in all, the Distillery is a good place to drop in for a bite to eat. It 's not the best local Rochester restaurant I 've eaten at, but since the best I 've found has since closed, this (for me at least) is a worthy alternative and well worth seeking out instead of the big chains."

I only got 9 wings for 10 wings takeout order. Someone there can't count to 10 apparently. Wings were decent for Rochester. View menu

I had the baked man and cheese with chicken, it was delicious, and so was the dreaming of chocolate cake! I highly recommend both!

I’ve dined at the distillery for years. What made me leave a review today is our server Ben his hospitality was incredible. Truly a pro! The distillery is lucky to have him.

We went to lunch today. Busy, but not that busy. They must have been down staff or something, but we want to thank Sara at the bar for taking such good care of us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Food was as good as I remember. Thanks

"Bull Malarkey's is a quaint, country restaurant, off the main town square in Henrietta, TX, across from the Henrietta main courthouse. It is a simple place on the outside, nothing screams restaurant except for the small sign on the outside of the shared building. Ther restaurant's name is on the glass of the main entrance door. I noticed a generously sized handicapped ramp on the sidewalk up to the main entrance. When you walk inside Bull Malarkey's you are instantly transported back in time to the early 1900's. The dining room had a rustic charm, a character of an old, country dining room. It has wooden floors, wild game heads sporting every side of the room, homey aromas, some antiques displayed on wooden bookcases. It looks like a true , old fashioned, small town restaurant. The dining room was clean and charming; a comfy relaxed feeling. There were no big city sounds of hustle and bustle. Even though the main dining room merely seats 16, it is spacious and uncrowded, with plenty of room to walk around each table. I believe there was a second dining area, but I didn't actually see it. Our server worked alone serving all six tabletops. She was the hostess, server, busser, and cashier. Occasionally, another, well dressed woman poppped out from the kitchen area ? to help to deliver the food to tables. As she passed each table she checked for refills, but as quickly as she appeared she soon vanished back to the other room. She vanishing woman appeared a second time, for an encore performance, before leaving again. She was friendly, when she spoke, and checked on our food and refills. Our server was a extremely friendly, speedy, efficient, and kept moving the entire time we dinned. She never missed a refill. She dashed by and quickly checked on our table several times during our meal. This small restaurant stayed full, as well as, several guests stopped in to order takeout. We didn't see anyone have to wait longer than a couple of minutes to be seated. The eleven o'clock lunch hour was quite busy for such a small town, population, 3141 in 2010 . The food was beautifully plated, had generous portions, was cooked fresh, and made exactly as ordered. I had a BBQ burger, topped with sauteed onions, and a side of hand cut, seasoned, fries, and a large glass of iced sweet tea. My BBQ Bacon buger was juicy. The BBQ sauce was smokey, sweet, and slightly tangy. The seasoned fries were so good. They were tender, crunchy, and sliced thin. My dining buddy had the grilled *chicken, sweet coleslaw, and two wedges of buttery Texas toast... which he thoroughly enjoyed. All our food was prepared as ordered. *Note: The grilled chicken was a bit dry and chewy, slightly tough to cut with the simple table knife; it may have been slightly overcooked... However, it did have some scrumptious seasoning. Sadly, we were too full to try any of the enticing desserts. Maybe on our next visit we might order the banana pudding or Bull's bread pudding, first! We had a delightful lunch at Bull Malarkey's, in Henrietta, TX... cute name for a restaurant! Parking: There are front angled, street side, parking, shared with other businesses in the same building. Kid-friendliness: There are some kid friendly menu items. They didn't serve lemonade or root beer. That seems like a missed, small town, drink opportunity. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair and walker accessibility. The sidewalk has a generous handicap ramp off the street. There's a large curb, however. I didn't notice if there was an access ramp onto the sidewalk... I'm not sure about that.
