"I ordered the surf 'n turf at this restaurant and was disappointed with the filet mignon. They had sliced it in half across the filet and cooked it too well done. I have never had a filet mignon this thin or overcooked before. The lobster was mediocre and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were mixed with fake potato ingredients. The waitress was very nice, which is why I rated it two stars instead of one. It's shocking to me the quality of food that some restaurants serve with a straight face, and the audacity to serve it in the first place."

We recently hosted a beautiful baby shower for my daughter at Grill 2. Agnes and the staff provided excellent service, the food was outstanding, and they accommodated all of our requests. It was truly a perfect day that we could not have asked for anything better!

The restaurant formerly known as Oscars has changed its phone number and name, and now only serves beer while they work on obtaining their full liquor license. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I heard they have a great prime rib steak special on Fridays, so I plan on returning to try it next time I'm in the area.

"I had no intentions of eating here this eve '. When the waitress came to my table I did mention I ate here before BUT I thought the place was closed. I, also, mentioned I don 't know what the fuss is about Oscar...before I could say more, she blurted, Oscar 's an excellent cook, etc., etc., he cooked in Manhattan. I asked, Where?? Inwood...?? LOL...I cooked in Manhattan, too, in my kitchen.I had the calamari w/creamed sriracha app. I actually liked it. Never thought about adding sriracha to cream/vice versa. Interesting.Had the grouper w/crab stuffing; was made in another cream-based sauce still trying to figure the spice which was kinda strong . Sauce was too heavy/rich for the grouper. I scraped this crab stuffing sauce off the grouper mixed it into the rice. Was it grouper...??? Rarely do I see grouper in northern restaurants; $18.00/lb at H-Mart...!!! Red Grouper; $36/lb. Black grouper ??? The mixed veggies were kinda hard; had to use a knife to cut them...they were good, though...fresh.Dessert: Usually, I do not do dessert. Just my espresso with a side of Sambuca don 't forget my 3 coffee beans...!!!! Waitress convinced me to try the Key Lime pie; stating her BF makes it. Told her, I 've been to Key West lots of times NEVER had the Key Lime pie...LOL OK...I ordered it they did NOT have it...WTH...!!! So much for dessert...UGH...Espresso served with 3 coffee beans on the saucer??? NO, when Sambuca is ordered the 3 beans go in the Sambuca...!!! ALSO, Sambuca is served in a snifter short-stemmed glass whose vessel has a wide bottom and a relatively narrow top . NOT a shot glass...!!! BTW, 3 beans are served when Sambuca is ordered but NOT with anisette; just a little restaurant fyi.The 3 beans are sorta superstitious; they mean health, wealth love. A lot of restaurant people have NOT a clue....SMH.WHY do I have to pull my SNOB out...in all seriousness, I 've eaten at 4 Seasons, Giambelli 's 50th, Lutece, Lafayette 's, The Leopard several other 4 star Manhattan restaurants back in the day; mid 1960s to early 1970s.The staff were cordial BUT off their game; seemed unorganized.Sometimes subtle spicing is a lot better than over spicing... I LOVE spice."
