"Showed up for our Friday reservation, and was promptly seated—outside area is very nice but incredibly dark, had to use phone lights to see menu. Server, greeted us after about 15 minutes—and told us he would be back shortly—feeling it was already taking awhile—we had our drink and food order ready. After 30 minutes of being seated, our waiter returned to get our drink order, and let us know they were out of 3 of the 10 main dishes. We decided to get appetizers to start—and once they were dropped, a different employee asked if we wanted sharing plates—said yes, and then were never brought plates. In the midst of eating without plates, we were asked by an alternate staff member if they could have the additional 2 barstools at our table for a different party—fine, but we had to stand up and move away/our belongings from our table mid eating our appetizers in the dark so they could remove chairs. Our server did not return to check on us for 30 minutes, at which point we were just ready to leave and go anywhere else for food. Upon leaving my credit card on the table, server for some reason had manager come over and speak with us—after listening to our complaints, he offered us a free dessert—we hadn’t even eaten dinner yet, because we weren’t asked.. upon leaving, we ran into a hotel guest that was staying and she had mentioned how her experience the prior night was also terrible, and that the bartender was providing 5+ free drinks to an attractive woman at the bar.. but wasn’t serving her well.. yikes.. seems we may have a problem here? Nice views/drinks and atmosphere—could pass on everything else."

Service is below average. Perhaps writing orders down would avoid entering them incorrectly. The view is the only desirable aspect of dining here.

We were seated outside and the weather didn't want to cooperate. It was chilly and windy but they had propane heaters. When the chill got to be too much, they moved us inside with no issues at all. Kudos to the staff for adjusting quickly and making it a non-issue.

Overall, it was a good experience. I was hoping for a few things I had set on the menu since they have a small set menu, but about four items were unavailable. Service was great and didn't wait long for the food. The environment was very loud inside, and I also recommended you make a reservation. View menu

Location in the view are outstanding, the food was pretty good, especially the conch fritters and the service was about average. They really weren’t that many people there, and they seemed slightly overwhelmed but the weather was very nice and very polite. We had 10 people for dinner and the bill with tip came to 500 which considering most of the kids had cheeseburgers seems like a lot, but probably normal for the area.

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, but the service was disappointing. The server was unresponsive and unfriendly. Additionally, serving a bottle of red wine that had been opened on a Saturday night isn't good management. We ended up leaving without placing an order. It seems that the restaurant may be facing challenges and could either close soon or change to new management. This feels like a misguided attempt at a gimmick, and it detracts from the overall experience.

The ambience was perfect, and the service provided by our servers Chris Roxanne was top-notch. Whoever was bartending that night brought their A-game, because the Espresso Martini, Amaretto Sours, and the Pain Killers were spectacular!! We had the Conch Fritters, and they were delicious and chock-full of conch. The Barbecue Wings were big, juicy and the barbecue sauce was perfectly tangy and sweet. We had the burgers, and they were also delicious! Overall, we had a great evening at The Landing, and will definitely be going back in the near future! View menu

Bad way of treating the customers yesterday I wanted to go to dinner with my husband here, and I told him I don't have a reservation and the two hostess told us that if we didn't have a reservation we couldn't get in, mostly the workers are very classy, if they don't see you very elegant they automatically treat you very badly, we asked the hostesses if we could buy some cocktails and sit on the sofa outside and he said ok yes, we went with the bartender and maybe a bad attention, the cocktails he made them reluctantly and then when we sat outside, we went with my baby and outside it was very cold and we wanted to give him a little heat and we sat about 20 minutes at a table with a heater an...

They’re close. They’re really close to being a really good restaurant, but they still have some growing pains. We live 8 minutes from this place and we want it to be great, we want it to be a success. The ambiance is a 10. Great views, vivacious bar scene and more.We sat in the middle of the restaurant which looks a little like a break space for meeting rooms, but the rest of the seating areas (inside and outside) was great. The service was good, although I think they need a little bit more time under their belt.Wine list is great. Zero complaints. The food was very good. I had shrimp and grits, my wife had crab cakes, and we shared a burrata salad. All very good, but they just need a little mor...

"I was having an early Mothers Day dinner with my son (he lives out of town), and I was looking online for a seafood restaurant. I came to Coastal Crab Company’s website and the description and pictures of the food looked so inviting, I wanted to give it a try. However, when we were on our way, my son saw that they were close to closing time at 7 PM. This was a little bit after 6PM. I called and the gentleman I spoke to said that we could order takeout. We really wanted to have a sit down meal so we scrapped that and decided to go to another popular local restaurant down by the river. When we got there, they were completely full and it was an hour wait time. At that point my son said that we can just do takeout and go home and eat. So, I called back Coastal Crab Company and I spoke to young woman who was so friendly. I thought we only had 20 minutes to closing , so she said how far are you? I said we are 20 minutes away and she said to come on. When we got there, we weren’t quite sure of what we wanted to eat. Anyway, we parked and went in. We met this lovely young woman. Her name was Nya? I believe. She was awesome. She took our order and we decided to wait outside in the car. Her customer service was impeccable. She explained what was on the menu and she told us, and practically insured that we would love the food. Let me tell you it is some of the best seafood that I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and well seasoned, and you can tell that they put love into each and everything that they cooked. I had the seafood platter, with grouper and shrimp with the seafood rice in a creole sauce. It was to die for. We also had the seafood stew and the seafood gumbo. Both were excellent. They have my vote! I believe that their food is not only excellent, but the customer service is impeccable. I would go back again and again, thank you for making my early Mother’s Day with my son! I will see you for my birthday and I will tell all of my family and friends. Thank you Coastal Crab Company!"
