This restaurant is a family and friends favorite. The Owners add a warm and inviting touch to all that come through the doors. The food is excellent.

Cheryl could not be a better hostess and accommodated 14 people on very short notice. Food superb as always and service attentive and friendly. Not the first time we’ve been there and won’t be the last. Great fun and no rushing us.

The food was fabulous. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the pork schnitzel. It was delicious and tender. We also had steak which was cooked perfectly and just tasted amazing. Myself and my friends visited Vilnius and were looking for a good steakhouse with a good atmosphere. We heard about the “The Meating Room” and had had to try it. The food was outstanding, but the service was even better. We met Julia the bartender who was so awesome! Hands down one of the coolest bartenders we’ve meet so far in Lithuania. Thank you so much for making our experience so cool… Julia rocks!!!!

The Meating House is always a welcoming place to go and have dinner. It has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Cheryl and her staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like part of their family. The food is delicious, from the appetizers to the main course through to the amazing desserts. The waiters are the best, always making sure that you're taken care of. I highly recommend the Meating House if you want great food and a great atmosphere.

I called to make a reservation due to a unforeseen cancellation at another establishment. The reservation was for a party of 15. The Meating house not only took the reservations but we were unsure of the weather so we were not sure if we wanted to dine outside or inside. When we showed up they set up seating inside and outside for the reservation all ready to go with cold water at all 15 seats inside and out (truly amazed by that). Our server Sue did an outstanding job attending to everyone at our table and not only that but also had 2 other small parties outside as well. The food was amazing and service was phenomenal.
