"The pizza was fantastic, just as it always is! However, the atmosphere felt very much like being in a funeral home. They've stopped coming to the tables to take orders, so now you have to approach the counter where the staff barely acknowledges your presence. We've been regulars since the current owner took over, and he used to be genuinely happy to see us and even engage in conversation. This time, he merely glanced over his shoulder and said a quick "hey." There was another couple who ordered after us, and when the gentleman pointed out that an ingredient was missing from his calzone, the owner simply shrugged and responded with an indifferent "oh well." Come on, Dave, you can do better than this!"

I had lunch and ordered the special: two slices of pizza and a Diet Coke for 10 bucks, which felt a bit pricey. The pizza was decent, and the crust was cooked perfectly.

Fantastic pizza! I’ll definitely return! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful! The service was quick! I ordered the Margherita, and it was just right—not too much sauce. Absolutely wonderful!

We also ordered a meatball sub, which was a fantastic value. It came with three generous homemade meatballs on a crispy hoagie roll. However, mine was a bit lacking in cheese, so I'd suggest asking for extra if you enjoy it cheesy. I also had them add cooked peppers and onions to it, which was a nice touch. Since it was a to-go order, they packaged the sauce separately.

We ordered two Meat Lovers Calzones, and they were amazing! The sauce is served on the side, and dipping the calzones into it truly enhances the flavor. Dave was the one who prepared our calzones, and he was very friendly. This pizza place is definitely a must-visit if you're in Monterey, Seaside, or Sand City. We took ours to go and enjoyed a wonderful picnic lunch by the ocean. View menu

We ordered from here on a Friday night, and it was really good. However, tonight (a Thursday), we received a disappointing half-baked version of what we expected. I was excited to try the Portobello mushrooms, but it fell short. It’s frustrating to pay $50 for a pizza that’s half-baked and underwhelming. I gave it a 3-star rating because our first order, The Tahoe, was outstanding. Maybe it was just an off night for the chefs.

This pizza was everything we had anticipated. The slices were generous, the toppings were wonderful, and there was an excellent variety to pick from. We ordered the Tahoe and the Meat Lover's pizzas, and both were outstanding! The only downside was that we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our second pizza because they initially made the wrong one. However, we didn’t mind the wait at all since the food was so delicious.

When our pizza arrived, it was steaming hot and looked fantastic! After just one bite, I could tell we had made the perfect choice; this restaurant truly lives up to its excellent reputation. The crust had a wonderful crunch while still being pleasantly chewy. The cheese was flawlessly melted, covering every bit of the pizza. I absolutely love this place! It's always our first stop when we visit Seaside. You can smell the incredible food before you even walk in, so you know it’s going to be a great experience. On our last trip, we got addicted to the Golden Coast, so we started our visit with another large one. They did not let us down. The service was quick, and our pizza arrived promptly at our sidewalk table. If you're looking for an authentic pizza experience, this is the place to go. Don’t miss the toasted ravioli—I promise it’s delicious!

It's all about the cake! The crust is simply AMAZING! I tried both the west coast and east coast versions, and while both were excellent, I preferred the west coast one. It was served with sweet peppers, thinly sliced crispy potatoes, and a chipotle sauce that was absolutely delicious! I never thought I would enjoy that combination, but now I might find it hard to order anything else! The kids had the garlic knots, and they were fantastic as well. You really can't go wrong here. The restaurant is a little small on the inside, but it’s clean and the service is friendly.
