"First and foremost, I love supporting black owned businesses. And I wish you great success. I chose this restaurant for that very reason. I just wished my experience was more delightful. Upon entering, we were greeted by a gentleman with a very warm welcome. He was very courteous and personable until we were seated. However, once being seated.... The first waitress seemed to be overwhelmed very unfriendly. She attempted to take our drink orders but had to step away as she was attending to a bigger party right across from us. She stated, âIâm preoccupied with this large party right here but I will send someone to take your order..â After waiting minutes for a now a waitress, who was more attentive than the first, we were now told itâs a brunch event being held all night. We made reservations and it never once said anything about a special brunch night. More importantly, we were coming for to have a birthday dinner. But nevertheless, we stayed and made the best of it. With not many dinner options available on the brunch menu, of us had to settle for the oxtail. person substituted the fried coconut rice for peas and the reason was Due to TSL running out of the fried rice thatâs paired with the oxtail on the menu. So one meal was then changed to something different instead, yet we were charged for oxtail anyway. This process took an additional minutes. It was a beautiful establishment but not such a beautiful experience. We all felt disregarded just because we were a small table of people there was a party of about people across from us. We watched them be attended to consistently while we were continuously overlooked."
