"This is not only the best Mexican restaurant in Ogden, it is the best restaurant in Ogden. I have eaten more than 60 times at Sonora Grill and I still can't get enough. I almost tried everything on her menu. The free chips and salsa are fantastic, homemade chips (they are the size of the tortillas), with red and green salsas that are fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is alive and funny, but quiet enough you can still talk. They have small banquet rooms for private small to medium parties. I had birthday parties and work events that were up to 30 people. They use fresh ingredients and use local food if possible. Here are our Faves: Chicken flautas Stacked Beef Enchiladas (you are no longer in the menu, but if you ask for them, they will make them) Childe Verde Arroz con pollo Seviche Chicken Quesadillas (yes, quesadillas, but these are not ordinary Quesadillas that are super tacos table to make tacos fresh Guacamole (if you ask it It is a good way to try a few different Entrée items for a fantastic price. I always get a triple and bring the extras home to enjoy the next day. For dinner I also get one of the combos for the same reason. All of them have generous portion sizes and you can really not go wrong with something on the menu. Sonora Grill is our favorite!!!!"

Dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on menu with great selections. Had the avocado tacos which were amazing and my husband had the fajita burrito which was also excellent, nice big chunks of mushrooms.

I love this place! You have great rooms for groups, so it works well to gather friends or family. I also went to a work dinner in the back room, which was nice. You also have a room on the side that we used for the family to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food is fantastic, and the service is great!

The food here was delicious! I have a dairy and gluten allergy. We told our server and he promised to make it clear to the kitchen. The appetizer of large chips, salsa, and fresh guac was awesome. I love that they are one of the few restaurants that have a dedicated vegan menu. there are more articles on their website. I ordered avocado tacos, and I asked server to find out if they were vegan because they were not identified as vegan on the menu like other articles. I don't think she understood that there was a difference between vegan and vegetarian. they had a brot in them, so I wonder if they really are vegan. update: they have their menu with the option not broken avocado on vegan updated by previous review on 2018-03-30

We were driving from Ohio to Oregon and drove through Ogden looking for lunch. I found this restaurant online and was very pleased to see they had a huge vegan menu. My daughter and I were both torn between the vegan black bean burrito and the crispy avocado tacos, so we ordered both and split them. The black bean burrito was very good huge and filling with a generous side of guac. The tacos were unique in a great way! Loved the sauce for them. We got an extra side of rice and beans (comes with tacos but not burrito). With two meals, a Coke, and the rice and beans our total was only $35. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa. Our food came out super quick! I don't imagine I'll be in Utah again...
