"I remember when they first opened up, and they maintained that spirit of good food and drink since. The family style pastas and fish are great. Though sometimes hit and miss on the dishes individually, it's always been fun to pop into the library area for a drink or get a business meal in here. Parking in the basement lot or around the drive. Pasta is still great, had the lamb garganelli, but the appetizers like the hummus and the octopus were not inspiring. Very nice staff though.wbile steak was tough the salt and vinegar fries underneath were an undeniable hit."

"So my girlfriend and I have now been here twice. Both times now we had Sam (server) twice. Two months since we last visited and he remembered us! He was amazing! He’s extremely personable with his guests and makes you feel welcomed and not like a guest! He recommended some delicious food and cocktails too. A lot of people are missing out on a delicious and savory meal and need to come! If I could give more stars, I would! I will be back soon! Thanks Mehndi for an amazing date night and thank you Sam for the wonderful start to a new year!"

"A huge thanks to the staff at Portofino's. Was in Morristown for the Verizon Corporate Classic and was one of the parents overlooking a bunch teenagers who volunteered. At the conclusion of the race, our group pretty much took over their outdoor seating area to treat the kids with some pizza. Having been to events were large amounts of pizza are are served, I know it could be hit or miss when it comes to tasty pizza with freshness being not east to manage. I must say, they knocked it out of the park with fresh pizza that was warm and tasty. After a busy night, I can only imagine the last thing the staff wanted was a large group invading their dinning room when they were so close to going home. Despite our group size and pizza only order, thr staff was awesome. The outdoor dinning area was perfect atmosphere for our group. Did not explore their menu any further but would definitely return for a nice outdoor patio experience bringing my favorite bottle (quick disclaimer- pretty sure it's byob"

"Don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews because the food is TERRIBLE! My fiancé and i dined here for my 30th birthday and we were so excited to try it out. We got the oysters Rockefeller, the warm Brie salad, escargot, and the steak tartare. Everything tasted old. The steak tartare looked like dog food. The oysters Rockefeller had this hollandaise sauce on top that tasted like they made it with grocery store bought packets. The escargot tasted like they had been frozen previously. I never leave reviews like this but we spent almost $200 to have a good dinner and nothing lived up to our expectations. The martinis we got even tasted watered down. "We found the portion sizes to be a bit small, especially since we were a party of four, but that’s understandable. I particularly enjoyed the shaved Brussels salad (without blue cheese); it was delicious and made the visit worthwhile. The flavors were well balanced, and the miso dressing was tasty and addictive. I highly recommend this dish to everyone! The burrata was decent given the price, although it came with some not-so-pretty sour strawberries—something outside the restaurant's control, perhaps. There were also minimal chili flakes on the dish, and while there were more pieces of bread than shown in the photo, with four of us at the table, there wasn't much to share. That said, the burrata paired nicely with the Brussels salad. The calamari was crispy and best enjoyed while hot, though those who tried it said they wouldn’t order it again. For dessert, we shared tres leches, which was tasty, and they kindly added a candle for my friend. One highlight of the meal was the drinks; I’d definitely return to sample more. The "Let's Get Fizzical" was delicious and perfectly crafted. I was hesitant about a drink made with egg whites, but it turned out great. The "Evening Prayers" was also good and quite strong, which is to be expected when mixing vodka, gin, and wine. Additionally, I noticed the restaurant offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and I’d be interested in trying some items from their brunch menu, but overall, my experience was pretty average."
