"I am from Indiana, but when I am in need of a good brunch or something unique, I always head to Chicago. Unfortunately, we do not have many options for a great brunch experience with a good vibe here. BUT THIS PLACE HERE, it has changed the game! It saves me the trip to Chicago. I visit this place every Sunday. From the excellent service, delicious food, and consistent vibe, I am a fan! This is a hidden gem, a breakfast spot that offers more than just great taste. They have a BAR, unique coffee drinks that you can't find anywhere else. That is one of the reasons I keep coming back here. Take it from me, I had to write this review for anyone like myself who is searching for a great local brunch spot. This is the place to be! The staff goes above and beyond what is rarely seen in restaurants here."

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better! My husband and I sat for a while after breakfast, enjoying a nice chat and coffee. I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but I took a sip and the waitress suggested I try TJs cappuccino with just one shot of espresso. I would definitely order it again. The French toast was also exceptional.

Very nice atmosphere and service! The decor is very nice and well kept. The drinks (coffee and alcoholic) were delicious and well made. The homemade jam was almond cherry and was good. Overall, a good experience and nice place to hangout with friends or family. This place tends to get busy on the weekends and it’s helpful to hold your place online before you go there. View menu

Very relaxed environment. Family oriented. Beautiful interior. Lovely music to dine. TJ’s cappuccino is to die for, if your a coffee person, a MUST to order! Nice portion of food. I ordered 2eggs and meat. Must say my 3 items were very delicious, bacon to a nice crisp, and potatoes well seasoned very delicious. Staff very courteous and well attended. Must visit, Highly recommended.

This is by far one of my favorite Northwest Indiana breakfast spots. Make sure to make time to wait to be seated on the weekend. It is quite busy before noon. I am never disappointed with the toast and jam appetizer. It is simply amazing. Just be careful with it, because you won’t have much room for your breakfast when it’s brought to your table. The food was good. Service was good. The greeters were pleasant. There were many employees around. Next time I plan to have a mimosa

my wife and I cursed us to wait so long to try this place because he is so close to our home. everything was wonderful and tasty, from the coffee and mimosas to the ice cream, hashbrowns, speck and pancakes. the real star was the Belgian waffles. our server advised us wisely to try them before maple syrup, and she was sure right. they didn't need a sweetener, and they were the best I had in my life! my wife loved her egg benedikt, which were made with real cuts ham out of the bone, instead of the disc of the Canadian bacon they at most locations. our server was exceptional and gave us all the attention we needed. this place just jumped on View menu

I always love a great breakfast place. I also love an amazing atmosphere and this place gave me all of that and then some! A truly wonderful dining experience, from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was so friendly and pleasant and the manager walked around several times to ask if we needed anything. I appreciate a warm and friendly vibe and if you visit this amazingly great place I hope you will feel the same! I had the pork chops eggs, with potatoes, two eggs and it came with your choice of pancakes or toast. I also indulged in a cappuccino which was rich and just what I needed. My niece went for the buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh berries and maple sausage. Simply delicious!

We came for breakfast and had a nice meal. Good food and prompt friendly service. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was like us, there were other mixed couples doing the same. I should’ve order a smaller dish because they give plenty of food and I couldn’t finish my steak skillet. My wife had the breakfast grilled cheese sandwich and said it was very good. Later update; they must use that restaurant cooking oil that’s a little more affordable but not necessarily better quality. While it has a somewhat buttery flavor, it’s not real butter or olive or avocado oil. My potatoes were cooked in it and while it tasted good, it also went through my system quickly and a bathroom visit was in ord...

"We went here on a Friday evening. Fairly full, but had a few open tables. We had several plates since this was our first time here. The service was great. Our server brought the food out in stages, so we didn't have it all at once, which was smart. We started with the chicken flautas (4 per order . Not overpoweringly spicy, mild, very good. Next, we had the Classic Fries. The garlic/parmesan drizzle made a nice compliment to the fries and the tomatillo salsa was a surprising compliment as well. Next plate was the shrimp tacos. I am NOT a fan of any fishy taco, but these were the best I've ever had. I would probably order them again they were so good. We ended with the King Crab Dip, which is served hot and takes about 30 minutes to prepare. Again, very good. Drinks: I started with an Old Fashioned, which was good; however, it was in a glass full of ice cubes. Many times they are served with one big cube, but generally not a glass full of ice. I can't recall the other drinks we had, but they were all very good. It is a very nice, small place inside. Well decorated. Since we were there on a Friday, it was a bit noisy. Music a bit loud. Ignore the baseball cap dress code thing; not enforced (not me! . Nice to ask, but it's Indiana. People aren't walking in here in suits and sport coats. Definitely would like to come back during the week. Great little place."
