"It 's a must stop for ALL fans of M*A*S*H, Max Klinger 's hometown of Toledo, OH. Toledo has a few one of a kind things to see and this restaurant tops them all. It serves Hungarian sausage hot dogs on their own famous bun. they have novel dishes like chili sundaes and fried pickles, along with anything you can think of to put on a hot-dog! Now here 's the reason thousands of people have come through these doors for decades, celebrities of all walks of life have signed hot-dog buns and they are mounted in cases all over the restaurant!. you could spend hours looking at them all! In the back dining area there are life-size cut-outs of all the mash gang and a spot right in middle for you to sit and a get a unique souvenir. There is also a gift shop with some cool gifts for under $5.. I can say that we had a great time, now I must say the reason I did not mention 'how ' the food was is because I do not eat anything they serve, I ate there about 20 years ago and I liked everything I tried, and went back more than once; now however, I do not eat that way as a lifestyle choice, not any dietary restriction. If you do or do not eat what they serve you can have a nice Arnold Palmer and have some fun! They are a great family tradition that Jamie Farr made famous by plugging them on the show in a bit about Klinger 's hometown. (Farr 's real hometown). The staff is friendly and even went out of their way to see if there was anything I could have off the menu. The manager came over and we had a nice talk with him, great guy. We made up for no food order by buying $59 worth of Tony Packo 's memorabilia! Well worth the short drive over the Sky Bridge to Front St. Then right at the next light."

I had the Hungarian hot dog. It was delicious. I sampled some of their chili and it was phenomenal as well. I don’t think any one person who likes chili or chili dogs would not find something they love here. The prices are not really that much more than the traditional chili places. Tony Packo’s Holds a special place in my wfe’s And My heart. Our first lunch date was at your downtown location, Three years ago, little did we know, that about two years from that date, I would ask my darling to be my beautiful wife for life. We came to the original location yesterday to commemorate our first date. The staff members were extremely accommodating, friendly and hospitable. As always, the food was great, as I love The seasonings in the chili and Paprika in the Hungarian dumplings! My wife loved the fried pickles too! Packo’s will forever be “our restaurant”! Keep up the great work and thank you for your outstanding service, you have customers for life!

It's okay, there's more hype than substance! I really don't understand how Paco's gets any more than 2 or 3 stars. It's more hype than anything else. It's expensive, the staff acts like they're doing you a favor. If it hadn't been for Jamie Farr on Mash, I doubt Paco's would be as popular. I won't return. If you want to break your bank then by all means go. "Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
