"Not impressed! This bakery used to be decent, but I've been there twice in the last two weeks looking for a “chocolate” party cake cupcake, and both times there wasn't a single one available in the display case! If it's that popular, you would think they would have more than one or two on hand. I wanted to buy a cupcake for my friend's birthday since this is her absolute favorite, so I called ahead this time to check if they had any in stock. No luck—still no chocolate party cake in the display! And when I asked for help, Katy wasn't very helpful and said she could possibly get me a frozen one. What a disappointment!"

I ordered a gluten-free and vegan cake for a big birthday party and was quite disappointed. The cake was dense, and the buttercream had little flavor aside from being excessively sweet. My family, who loves desserts, only remarked, “this tastes like coconut flour.” No one finished their slice, and I ended up throwing away the rest because no one wanted to take any home (and I certainly didn't want to eat it again). Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the $95 or the drive from Prineville.

When we travel we make an effort to try local French macaron places. This place is without a doubt the best along all the places in Bend, Salem, and Eugene. The macarons were fresh even at the end of the day. The only thing we would wish is that there were no sprinkles. They were a little crunchy and unnecessary. The macarons taste great by themselves.
