"I mostly felt terribly on behalf of the girls working here. You can feel there is just something weighing on them heavily that they cannot provide customer service. I didn't get a welcoming in nor a farewell. Eye contact must be taboo here. I don't livenearby and I actually am glad there wasn't any seating to eat there bc I would have been succumbed to bad high school cafeteriavibes for lunch. I found a random hotel parking lot near facing the freeway instead! Peaceful. In retrospect, I should'velooked up reviews prior and avoided the place bc the reviews are correct : salad was a 3 but the vibe was in the negatives."

They delivered exactly what I was hoping for—quickly and with great politeness. I absolutely love this place! Their Peach/Mango flavor is just perfect.

Customer service was very nice and friendly. The Thai chicken salad turned out much better than I expected! Really not bad for a quick and relatively healthy lunch.

I love Tropical Smoothie. They may not be perfect but the customer service from the new owner is worth those little mistakes. Also, it?s only over priced if you don?t take advantage of the pairing deal. Get food and a smoothie, cheaper and youget more food :

I normally don't like to complain but it smells like pure MILDEW and STAGNANT WATER. I'm concerned that there could be possible MOLD growth by the smell. Personal beverages and snacks were laying out and no one washed their hands. I understand the employees are young but training in proper cleanliness and hygiene is desperately needed here.

Typically, the food here is good and the service is decent. However, tonight I placed my order online at 8:40 PM, and the confirmation email indicated it would be ready by 8:55 PM. I arrived a bit early, as they close at 9 PM, only to find the lights off, the doors locked, and no one answering the phone. I'm just hoping I wasn't charged for the order.

Upon entering this location it smelled like sewage, but I had placed a pick up order so there was no turning back. All other locations seem to provide better quality food. My buffalo chicken wrap was lacking chicken even though I paid for extra, whatlittle lettuce and tomato it did have was wilted and old. The wrap itself was falling apart. Very dissatisfied I?m concernedabout the quality of ingredients in my smoothie given the quality of my wrap. Not a good location. View menu

This is undoubtedly the worst Tropical Smoothie Cafe location in the valley. Every single time I place an order—whether directly through their website or via Uber Eats—I have a disappointing experience. I either receive the wrong items or they completely forget parts of my order. On top of that, the service is atrocious. It's frustrating because this is one of my favorite places for healthier food options. At this point, I'm even willing to drive farther to a different location just to experience better service and actually get my order.

"I have to say that I was impressed with the food. Specifically because Lafayette is a small city and not a melting pot like Houston, LA or NYC where you can find so many choices. I mentioned that the chef had to be from India, and my guess was right. When I tasted the food, I knew the ingredients were balanced in a way that whoever is cooking, he is someone experienced and had to be born in the Indian region where he can tell the exact taste and balance the spices that makes it delicious. Our waitress Allie was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She is a great listener and willing to learn. Lamb Biryani: The lamb was cooked to perfection. Very tender, great portion with respect to rice. Many places put 3 pieces and fill the whole plate with rice to save on cost and take away from the quality of the dish. My only comment is the riata should not be in a plastic cup. It took away from the presentation of the metal bowl. Butter Chicken: Sauce was equally balanced in respect to flavor. The creamy sauce was not too much buttery to the point where you can taste the butter and not too watery where you don't taste the main ingredients of the sauce. Chicken was soft and also cooked right. Some places you will eat the chicken and it has that little hard bite as if you're biting an undercooked steak fries. Samosas : Absolutely amazing, with the Tamarindo. Nan Garlic Bread: Delicious, dipping it with the butter chicken sauce was amazing. I would add the crispy bread Pappdum as soon as guests sit on the table. Ambience: I would invest a little bit lighting bulbs, decor here and there, some Indian music in the background to give that full experience. Entrance: Can be decorated better with Indian sari, vase, and accents. Overall, loved the place, keep up the quality of the food. Invest little more in the place and start working on some marketing strategies. This place has lots of potential. Highly recommended"
