"I will not be returning to this restaurant. Despite menu items being labeled as "vegan" and "dairy-free," such as the falafel, they are not. I inquired about the yogurt sauce and was informed that it does contain dairy. The server seemed irritated when I pointed out that items labeled as dairy-free should not contain dairy, claiming they could be made dairy-free. This was confusing. We ordered the stuffed eggplant entree, which can supposedly be made vegan by substituting rice for potatoes, but it did not specify that the yogurt sauce needed to be removed. Additionally, I don't understand why rice cannot be made vegan. The dish consisted of soggy roasted vegetables. The other entree was essentially a potato stew, accompanied by a side of potatoes instead of rice. The portions were small, especially considering the $19.99 price tag per entree. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant."

During our trip back from Stowe, we had lunch at Tuckerbox. It's a hidden gem offering Turkish cuisine with a variety of vegan options.

We ate here on a recent visit to White River Junction. We had the Doner Kebob and the Chicken kebob. I felt like the Doner was missing some spice. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Good food at a reasonable price. Service was good. We just ate there for breakfast and it was delightful. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and coffees. Service: Dine in

This place is a must-visit. The food is delicious and the service is incredibly fast - we were in and out in just 30 minutes. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a perfect score of 5. We dined in for lunch and rated both the food and service a 5. We highly recommend trying the Turkish Red Lentil Soup (Ezogelin Çorbası) - it's a standout dish. For vegetarians, there are plenty of clearly labeled options on the menu.

"Yum! I had the tropical roll, the sweet potato roll and a salmon roll with mango. While it took a wee bit longer than I expected, it was very fast considering there were other orders before me. (I forgot they were doing other orders which is why it was longer than expected. I mention this because when you walk in, it's quiet and most orders appear to be to go orders. So, just be patient. They are very fast considering. The rolls were delicious! I loved each bite and I am so glad I came, sat down and ate here. This little mom-and-pop place is perfect. My rolls were simple, but the rolls coming out for others, the more extravagant rolls, they were gorgeous and HUGE. Beautiful in fact. I also ordered miso soup and pajun. Delicious, perfect amount and I left comfortably full. How things work. You come in, order and pay, and then you sit to eat or grab it to go. The staff are friendly and efficient. Oh and don't forget your drinks in the fridge. They have same drinks I would get out of the vending machines in Japan. It was nice to remember. Overall, I am very happy I found this little place. Next time I make the 3.5h round trip drive out, I am definitely stopping in again! Thank you so much for your hospitality and delicious food! Parking: You can pay known the street or in front of the restaurant in a little shared parking lot. All free. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly for sure! Kids can do the ordering and will be treated as if they are the adult while ordering, with respect. It is a great place for them to practice social etiquette. Wheelchair accessibility: If you are on a walker, crutches or wheelchair, you will be happy to know the inside has wide walkways. The door is a little heavy it managing on your own, but definitely doable with or without someone. (Easier with, obviously."
