"Deep in the heart of the Funk Zone, lies Tyger Tyger. Ready to pounce some delicious Thai street food on you. Crab chips, shrimp rolls, salads, pork banh mi sandwiches noodles . I choosed a bowl of Khoa Soi , Curried coconut milk soup with pork belly, egg noodles, fermented mustard greens, bean sprouts, peanuts, cilantro. Releasing my tastebuds to an exotic wonderful array of flavors. Dine in a whimsical decorated room with over 100 pink paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling. 2 notes; bring along all of your lucky charms, to help find parking. Then check out the over the top colorful- flower wallpapered bathrooms. Monkey Shine ice cream Dart Coffee shares the space too."

The best Vegetarian food in Santa Barbara! Tyger Tyger is just what the Funk Zone needed! The Fried Yuba Sandwich is hands down the most delicious sandwich I have ever had!

I've been dying to try this place. The food lived up to the hype, maybe even more. we got the banh mi sandwich drunken noodle. PACKED with flavor and the spice level was on point. The servers were super nice and helpful, and the atmosphere is dreamy. Definitely will be back!

Food was great. A real taste of Asia. Found some khao soi and it was an almost perfect representation of norther Thai food. Would say the flavor is spot on but the consistency is quite a bit to thick. But still a must have. The larb is very close depending on the region you visit.

Best new place in town! Fresh flavors, excellent compositions, top notch service, fun vibe, and great prices. They also change the menu weekly so we can't wait to go back for new tastes. We had the crispy rice salad, cold noodles with spicy shrimp, and the special spicy wings. Soooo Good! View menu

Oh meee oh my! The local breakfast sandwich was the best breakfast sando I’ve ever had, hands down! The guy running the register and the cook were incredibly welcoming and the music inside was very excellent! Highly recommend stopping here at XO for a good morning bite with the Dart coffee shop attached to get a caffeine buzz on too!

I absolutely love khao soi and make sure to order it whenever I can. This particular version was fantastic! Every component— from the noodles and pickled greens to the chicken— was expertly prepared, and when combined, they created an incredible dish. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really appealing, and I can't wait to come back for a meal inside!

This cozy, dimly lit counter-service spot offers genuine Thai cuisine with a hipster vibe. I stopped by for dinner and tried the Thai pickles, Weeping Brisket Salad, Khoi Soi Noodle Soup, and finished off with deep-fried Banana Limpias for dessert. Each dish was packed with rich flavors and intricate textures, showcasing the owner's dedication to authenticity and creativity. I'm eager to return and explore more of the menu! View menu

Happy Tyger Tyger is back! Good flavors with interesting takes on dishes. The space has a great ambiance and the service is quick and easy. A sit-down option would be nice and would elevate the experience. I am looking forward to trying more on the menu. I like that the menu is plant-forward, and has a modern take on Asian food but is greatly inspired by California, more specifically the Central Coast. The Fried Yuba Sandwich and the Lechon (order the tamari egg) are some standouts.

This restaurant offers a unique experience, combining three different options in one visit. Begin with their hearty main dishes, then enjoy a cup of coffee to complement your meal, and finish off with a delightful soft serve ice cream for dessert. On the day we visited, they had refreshing Thai Tea and Ube flavors. The main dishes were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service was satisfactory, though the seating area inside is a bit cramped, so it's best to leave strollers outside.

"THE BEST EMPANADAS ! After our almost one week vacation in Cambria my wife and I decided to make a stopover in Santa Barbara on the way home. A good reason to have dinner and then breakfast at two of our fav spots. Soon after getting settled in our casita at The Eagle Inn we headed straight here to buy some delicious Empanadas.....the best Empanadas we have ever enjoyed ! No problem scoring a parking spot on their small private lot at around 6.30pm. A very pleasant cashier named Florencia helped us with our dinner order at the service counter. We both ordered COMBOS...2 Empanadas side of choice and 3 Empanadas side of choice. My wife chose 1 x Pollo Pulled free-range Mary's chicken, onions and bell peppers , 1 x Serrano Prosciutto ham, mozzarella, garlic, wild arugula and a side of Chimi Papas Chimichurri oven roasted potatoes, spices, topped with aioli sauce . I selected 1 x Carne Sunfed Ranch grass-fed ground beef, onions, bell peppers, green olives and free-range hard-boiled egg , 1 x Serrano, 1 x Hongas Crimini mushrooms, organic spinach, caramelized red onions, mozzarella and a side of Chimi Papas. On any other day in warmer weather we probably would have dined here but it was getting late and the weather was pretty lousy. PRETTY QUICK ! There were a couple of walk-in pickups while we waited but apart from that it was pretty quiet. Florencia neatly packed our dinner order into take-out boxes and placed them on the counter. We paid and headed back to home base....The Eagle Inn. By 7pm we had it all ready to eat on the little table in our courtyard. Of course I brought my own beer to enjoy with dinner. WHAT CAN I SAY ! When you buy the best Empanadas you can't go wrong. I personally loved the Carne the best and the Serrano is always a winner but trust me they are all great. The delicious Chimi Papas with the provided side sauces tasted fabulous. VERY HARD TO BEAT !"
