"This restaurant is well-informed about vegan and vegetarian options. In India, vegetarian already means no eggs, so they just need to ensure dishes are made without curd, cream, butter, and cheese. It's easy to communicate your dietary preferences. The rice-based dishes like dosa, uttapam, and idli are vegan, as well as vada. Pongal avial (Rice and Lentil Mash with Coconut-Curried Vegetables) is vegan if you request it without butter, and pairs well with sambhar (a type of stew). Rasam soup is already vegan. The customer service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious! Although there were limited vegan options, the staff was accommodating and happy to show me what options were available on the menu. I will definitely be returning as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

I was suprised to find that although this restaurant is listed as vegetarian, there was chicken and lamb on the menu. My confidence at eating here went down after we asked whether there was ghee in certain dishes. The server was hesitant to confirm that anything was dairy-free. The food was average, which was a shame because the attentativeness by staff (keeping water glasses full, seeing if we needed anything else) was excellent.

I tried to give this place a chance, but they were only willing to make three of their meals vegan chic peas, spinach or cauliflower. I wasn't interested in any of those. I also wasn't happy with their hours. They are closed from whenever they stop serving lunch till 5 pm. Since I was here for training from out of town, my schedule required a dinner time of 4:30 pm or at least the ability to order it at that hour to reheat later in the hotel room. View menu

Just wanted to make a note that my two children and I are not vegetarians, but my wife and mother, who lives with us, are strictly vegetarian. This restaurant is perfect for us to celebrate Mother's Day or for any special occasion! My mother was very pleased with the vegetarian options, especially the simple yet delicious meat dish she ordered that day. Even though we are not from South India, we all love the dosas here. According to my wife, this is the best place in the city for dosas! Happy mother, happy family!
