"You are paying $46 for overpriced and unpalatable AYCE sushi. Every single thing we've ordered were overstuffed with rice. We've also noticed the amount of rice in our nigiris, rolls and handrolls got more aggressively than the previous round. Their intent is to make us full quickly and to force us to eat every single grain of rice before we could order the next round. The colors of the sashimi were off and the avocados that were served on our sushi were either brown or turned black. Why I am giving this place 1 star: As we were getting ready for our 3rd round, a man named Gary (which I learned later was the manager of this location) approached us in the utmost disgusting manner and started to speak nonsense. Not only did he interrupted my lovely conversation with my gfs but he spent a good minute telling us we will need to ABSOLUTELY finish everything that we've ordered before we can order more. (fair) BUT then he pointed to the rice that was uneaten on our plate and said he will charge us if we don't finish those either. I was so baffled I didn't even know what to say. Should I also eat the few grains of rice that fell off my plate too? Me and my girlfriends completely lost our appetite right after. If the food is good and the service is bad, it's acceptable in my book but if the food is bad and the service is below par? There is no reason for me to come back. Ps: Manager and few other staff members need to get retrained. Overhearing them gossiping about a customer that came in solo and said he must be a really lonely person.Staff needs retraining. Unacceptable."

Had us waiting outside for over almost 2 hours. Sat other guests who’ve arrived later than us. It was giving discrimination vibes.

I suggest calling ahead to check if they have uni or oysters on the menu for the day. The food offers a decent variety of salmon, hibachi, tuna, and other types of fish. Gratuity is automatically included, even for small parties. View menu

The sushi at this restaurant is decent and the service is okay, but there are not many good options to choose from. They have a rule where each round you can only order items with stars on the menu, limited to 2 items. The items without stars did not taste good. I enjoyed the grilled baby squid, but the shrimp was not very fresh. Overall, I'm not sure if it's worth it. It's like eating at a buffet at a Chinese or Japanese restaurant, but slightly more upscale. Parking is easy if you come early, but I'm not sure about later. In conclusion, it's just decent.

I have to say that this is the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant I have ever been to, for several reasons. Firstly, the price is very reasonable at $47.99 for San Francisco, especially considering it includes all-you-can-drink sake. The fish is fresh, not frozen like some other sushi places I've been to. They offer quality nigiri and sashimi. In addition, they have toro and a wide variety of seafood options, including skewers, which sets them apart from other places that mostly just have rolls with fried tempura. The service is also fast, they bring out each round quickly. This restaurant is perfect for a celebration as you can try a wide variety of items. It always satisfies my sushi cr...

It's not worth the price. Me and my friend went there together out of our curiosity. But we both agree it was not worth it and we would not want to go back again. The fish was dry and not very fresh. They were missing two top items: the fatty tuna and uni which we went there for. Come on, it's all you can eat sushi, but you are missing the most expensive items and still want to charge people the same price. Make it make sense to me. They will cut you off at one hour of your eating time it says 90 minutes on their menu) and straightly tell you it is gonna be your last order. I think if you have $120 for two people, you can eat much better food any where else.If you really want to go there onc... View menu

Was excited to try AYCE here. I didn't go in with high expectations, just wanted to satisfy my max sushi cravings. I would have given it 3/5 stars. The reason I bumped it down was because I found a DEAD FLY hiding underneath my fish which made me queasy about eating there the rest of the time. Maybe that warrants a 1/5? If I didn't check, then that would have been in my mouth. When we told the waiter nicely they didn't even apologize or anything. Maybe if they all weren't too busy watching the basketball game they would have noticed? I support their love for dub nation, but if this is how it's gonna end up then please just focus on making the sushi right. Everything else wasn't bad though. A...

If I can give this place a no stars I would. HORRIBLE!!!!! Got here right when they opened and it was dead. Food was nothing but mediocre and below average. Nothing tasted fresh. On our 2nd round, a man named Gary approached our table and gave us a lecture of not to waste food and presumed that we won't be finishing our food! He wasn't saying it as a courtesy but in a very demeaning manner and spoked to us like we are children. Said we would be charged per plate for the food that we didn't finish. Not only did the food tasted terrible, we were forced to finish it. Ordered their lion king roll and their avocado was black and the ratio of the rice is insane. The amount of rice in our sushi pro...

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
