"What a great find in the Northfield community. The food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from including breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare. The California Wrap was large, enough for a full meal and take home. The Turkey Club was also well stacked with tasty fries. Inside was well laid out, conversation level with ease, and table service was excellent as well. All in all if in the northern suburban area of Chicago, definitely a small off the main drag stop to make."

"This place is fantastic. Food is great! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive! I went for dinner with my family on my birthday and we loved everything. The penne al vodka was especially delicious. The Cauli-wings are a must have and serving size is big enough to share with friends. They have a great kids meal that our son loved. And for dessert I got a slice of carrot cake that was superb. Can't wait to go back and try a few more things from their menu!!"

"We visited UDawgU on National Hot Dog Day and enjoyed a BOGO deal on all hot dogs. We ordered two jumbo and two regular hot dogs to share with the family, all prepared in the classic Chicago style. We also got a large fry to split. The food was served promptly, and the staff was friendly. Both the restaurant and the outdoor patio were clean, even though it was quite busy due to the promotion. Overall, the experience was well-executed and reminiscent of a true Chicago dining experience."

"I have to say that this is the best restaurant in the suburbs, and I don't say that lightly. It is on par with some of the top restaurants in the city. The dry-aged bistecca is one of the most delicious steaks my wife and I have ever tried. The texture and flavor are outstanding, with multiple layers of taste. It may be a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth every penny, especially for special occasions. The cocktail and wine selections are well chosen, and the appetizers and desserts are also amazing. Every course is delicious, making it a rare find. And to top it off, this gem is located in the suburbs, so you can enjoy a top-notch meal without dealing with downtown Chicago traffic and parking. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."

"Our waitress was very polite and friendly. We decided to order a chef's special salad along with two entrees. As a big fan of chicken parmesan, I was eager to try theirs. However, from the very first bite, I encountered an overpowering flavor that masked the taste of chicken entirely. Despite this, the tortellini served with the chicken parm was excellent, and we also enjoyed the 8-finger pasta. We mentioned to our waitress that the chicken parm had an unusually strong flavor and asked if there were any additional ingredients beyond the marinara sauce. She assured us that there shouldn’t be and went to get the owner, Tony. When he came over, we tried to explain the situation, but he seemed to interpret it as us trying to get a discount, offering to remove the dish from our bill. That made us feel misunderstood, as we weren't seeking anything for free. Unfortunately, if this is the intended flavor profile for the chicken parmesan, it’s unlikely I will return."
