"Super yummy food! I got the butter chicken and my partner got the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. I really enjoyed the butter chicken and the sauce blended very well with the chicken inside. The garlic naan was also well-seasoned and crispy. They had very generous portions and gave lots of rice. We had lots of leftovers and one meal was able to last us for both lunch and dinner.The service was also excellent. The waiter was very kind. My partner and I were struggling to put the orders in the to-go containers and the person that took our order put on gloves and came to help us. The ambiance of the restaurant gives off family owned business as well as casual. It's a great place if you're looking for comfort food in a comfortable environment."

The food is exceptional and has been every single time I've ordered. I travel from Texas to visit family in La Mesa, and I intentionally select my hotel because it's less than two miles from the restaurant. This place is truly one of my favorites.

Delicious Indian restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly, and while it may not have a completely authentic ambiance, the food is still excellent. The prices are reasonable too. I tried the chicken tikka masala, and it was quite tasty. I definitely recommend visiting this place!

Portions are large, price is reasonable, and everything was cooked so perfectly. We got butter chicken, saag paneer, tandoori, vindaloo, and lamb samosas. Everything was perfect. I’ve visited this restaurant for both the lunch buffet and the dinner special. If you’re in search of the best Indian cuisine, you might want to keep looking. This place describes itself as 'bare bones,' and they’re honest about it. However, they do have a good paneer tikka masala. The rice is authentic basmati, the naan is genuine naan, and considering how inexpensive this place is, it definitely deserves five stars. I have no issues with the facility or the staff.

We came here for dinner because we had a synergy gift card and they accepted it and we wanted Indian food. We ordered the Saag Paneer and Tikka Masala with chicken. The tikka masala sauce was delicious and the chicken was pretty good not dry. I just wish the pieces were smaller. We needed a knife to cut the pieces. The saag paneer was okay. Lots of sauce but not much paneer. Portion was good for the two of us plus leftover enough for one of our lunches. This was a casual place where you order at the counter and then seat yourself.
