"This is my favorite Wasabi restaurant in the DSM area. I visited on Saturday evening with my 6-year-old niece to explore some "weird" food. Our waiter, Hunter, was fantastic. She tried curry, octopus, mochi, and fried ice cream, and she absolutely loved the experience!"

Great experience overall. The food was delicious. However, do not drink the water. West DSM’s water is horrible. You may ask for bottle water. They understand and won’t get offended!

My wife and I love this place. We try to eat here once or twice whenever we visit my parents in Des Moines. The service is outstanding, but the appetizers, sushi and sushi rolls are the best. View menu

We were seated near the kitchen, which did make it a bit noisy at times. However, we still enjoyed our evening immensely. The food was delicious! We had sushi rolls and sashimi, both of which I highly recommend!

Love this place and the food! We were seated in the back room though, which doesn't have the same atmosphere as the bar or first seating area. A little disappointed since we had a reservation, but still a nice evening with great food and a great waitress!
