"The ambience is reallyUpbeat and trendy The food was sooooo slow, similar to merchant kitchen be prepared to wait minutes for your appetizer and the same before your main.Limited options I get the Gastro pub vibe but a vegan member had one option. The wine options were good but a little over priced. The servers were very sweet and attentive but seemed a little organized, like they didn’t expect this many for dinner. We had to ask to order appetizers and dinners and dessert. The food was pretty good,The pretzels were okay, warm seasoned bread? With a minscule amount of dipFor Large pieces.Presentation was great.Spaghetti and meatballs were good the meatballs were bursting with flavour. The salad was okay. Standard. The Mac and cheese was warm, creamy and Filled your belly. The siracha noodles were tasty. The desert was a tiny portion, pricier than baked expectations but the size but delicious. The apple walnut cheese cake was great.I’d love to try it again, maybe just needs some time to work the kinks out in efficiency"

The atmosphere was very lively and modern, but the service was quite slow, reminiscent of a busy kitchen. We had to wait 30 minutes for our appetizers and another 30 minutes for our main dishes. The menu had limited options, but there was a vegan option available. The wine selection was good, but a bit expensive. The servers were friendly and attentive, but seemed a bit disorganized as if they were not prepared for a busy night. We had to order separately for drinks, dinner, and dessert. The food was decent, with the starters being average. The presentation was excellent. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious, with flavorful meatballs. The salad was standard. "I had not been to this resto for a very long time. Since my last visit they have redecorated/renovated but maintained the same menu elements and the same fabulous service (though obviously different service.) The food quality and taste was great, not something you always see in a menu that does Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The standouts at our table were the mussels, tourtiere, Coq, Boef Bourguinon. Tacky I know but we all tasted everything! The burger was kind of out of place in this company. Décor is pleasant and rustic at the same time. There are two service areas. There is a view of the Human Rights Museum, Bridge, and River. Though that also means the evening sun shines into the room at times. Not a problem there were blinds, and the A/C kept it comfortable. A word or two on Price. The online menu is out of date, its about 10% low. The place is not cheap, but is on par with other restaurants I have reviewed in Winnipeg. For those looking for a different experience, they do a Prix Fixe menu on most nights for about 3/4's of what a meal off menu would cost. It is chefs choice and changes. House wine was very drinkable and priced in line. The Prix Fixe offers the option of Wine Pairings (recommended) for each dish at $18 per person total. But to end this review I go back to the service. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left (a long time later) the service was wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back!"
