"Overall good experience, tasty bbq and sides, great service. Galbi (marinated) extremely tasty and flavorful, bones on the side also tasty Pork Belly thick un marinated but good quality pork Beef tongue tender and tasty Brisket relatively generous portion and very lean Tofu soup (seafood) was surprisingly tasty (I generally don't like these soups) Vegetable pancake very good, in particular not very doughy/soggy in the middle which sometimes happens, wish they had a seafood version Generally speaking, good experience would go back, only issue is with regards to how worth it. I generally expected the portions to be bigger at $30 40 per plate of meat, particularly paying $30 for 6 slices of pork belly seems to be a bit not worth it.Would go back, but only order a few of the meats and sides."

So worth every penny, hands down the coolest, most delicious dining experience in my life so far! I recommend to anyone who loves a good quality steak and eating adventure!

The food here was AMAZING. The cuts of meat were so juicy and the sides with delicious. The service here was spectacular, they cook the food and are so attentive. The server noticed I was low on water and moved the water next to me.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. It reminded me of the charming small family-owned eateries in Korea. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I hadn't had Korean food in a while, so this visit was perfectly timed. View menu

Food was fantastic and the owner was a wonderful person. We had been wanting to try korean bbq and liked the ratings for this place, so we decided to go here. It was a 45 min drive with Chicago traffic, but well worth the time for the amazing food

The experience was good, but it was somewhat pricey. We ordered two appetizers and three BBQ dishes for five people. Additionally, an 18% gratuity is automatically included for parties of five or more. In total, it came out to about $60 per person.

Nice small Korean BBQ spot. My friend and I didn't partake in the BBQ this time, but have had it in the past. We had yukgaejang, a spicy beef soup and ddukbokki, a spicy rice cake dish. Both delicious. The yukgaejang was really good with very nice flavor. Decent number and variety of banchan dishes. View menu

Great food! Love that the grill here is charcoal. The spicy pork and pork belly were great! Was not a fan of the way the galbi is prepared here, there isn't much meat on it compared to other ways to cut galbi, and ours came out a bit too tough to enjoy.Otherwise, cozy atmosphere and tasty food. What's not to love

What a fantastic and enjoyable experience for the whole family! Each of us had different tastes, but this restaurant offered a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone. Some of us indulged in the BBQ, while others savored the many delicious non-BBQ dishes available. The atmosphere was lovely, and the servers were extremely courteous, taking excellent care of us. I highly recommend this place; it's a great value for the experience!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
