"My husband and I ordered a few from here. We explained that we were vegan and we could order some dishes. We ordered vegetable fried rice, vegetable spring rolls, spicy garlic chili oil tofu, scallion pancakes, cabbage tofu soup and signature spicy fried rice. The vegetable fried rice had no taste, very pale, mushy and had only broccoli in it. Where was the rest of the vegetables? Also not like the signed fried rice – tasted like tons of ginger. Vegetable spring rolls were ok, and cabbage soup very bland. The only thing we liked was the Spicy Garlic Chili Oil Tofu and the Scallion Pancake, but not good enough to go back. It is also quite expensive here. The quarter of vegetable fried rice alone was $13 and contained only one vegetable. Wanted to like this place, it is very close to home, but just ended disappointed."

Had it at 3 but have to increase to 5. Honest business and their bubble teas are good!!

Good dumplings, the steamed dumplings are great. The buffalo chicken and Teriyaki chicken was also good.

Food is great, warm and delicious. Boba isn?t strong like some other places. Portion size is worth the price. Highly recommend! View menu

I'm addicted to dinner. There is a fair number of vegan options and the lady in the front is always ready to answer my questions if I want to try something new. tofu and bok choy with brown sauce and tofu cabbage soup are my favorites.

Delicious food! We ordered the cumin chicken, crystal shrimp dumplings, shrimp and crab shumai, and bubble tea. Everything was 10/10. Menu has many options to choose from for any craving. Servings are nice size as well. One visit later and they became one of our favorite places to eat.

I've ordered from this restaurant twice in the last few months. I was on the hunt for bubble tea options that aren't available in Queen, and I finally found one here. I also tried the chicken over rice and the strawberry flavor. Don't just take my word for it—go try it for yourself! Delicious! Thanks for a great dinner! View menu

It's quite rare to find such a fantastic place for bubble tea and snacks in Suffolk County. I highly recommend the taro slush with boba and the spicy chili fries. Everything was delicious! I also tried the beef dumplings and the pork soup dumplings, both of which were excellent. I will definitely be returning with friends. Just a heads-up: Google states they open at 11, but their sign says 12.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I would strongly advise against ordering from here. A few days ago, I placed an order and paid extra for chicken, which was not included. I also ordered a specific dish that I know quite well, but they sent me something completely different. When I called to address the issue, the staff insisted that my order was correct, despite the fact that I can read Cantonese and knew that what I received was wrong. The restaurant did not offer a refund; instead, they suggested I come back for a free egg roll on my next visit. Honestly, they can keep their egg rolls—I'll never return, and you shouldn't either!

"I am far from a restaurant connoisseur nor do I leave reviews on any establishment regularly. But I have to say the food and drinks are top notch and they serve one of the best French dip sandwiches I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had quite a few in my time, at quite a few different restaurants on Long Island. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to look at some of the reviews for this particular establishment And I found quite a few people who had choice words to say about a business they’ve probably never owned or personally run themselves and about a profession they’ve probably never worked in themselves meaning being a restaurant owner and/or a waiter or waitress but they have plenty to say about it. One review says about how it needs to be updated, well I don’t know if you’ve noticed the name of the place but it’s the old city Public House not the new city Public House, it’s rustic and charming. Another reviewer made comments about the “older woman” waitress who works there and how she has “no personality” I will agree that she’s a little rough around the edges but she is a pissa and I don’t know too many waitresses that can handle an entire restaurant by herself and seemingly pay attention to all the tables that she’s serving so she means business and I guess that could be misconstrued as “grumpy”, said in another review. If you’re looking for really good food and a rustic charming atmosphere with a no nonsense waitress who’s going to get your order correct and make sure that you have everything you need throughout your dining experience then this is the place."
