"The best subs I've ever had! The freshly baked buns and each sub made to order make all the difference. Unlike Subway, I don't have to specify every single ingredient unless I want to. I simply order a full-sized "Hook Ladder" and ask for it to be "fully engaged" (with all the toppings), and it's always delicious. Honestly, their subs are just superior to those from other chain restaurants. Your experience may vary, of course."

"I 'm a big fan of Firehouse Subs. Especially that Engineer sub sandwich! This location has always had friendly workers when I 've been there. Sometimes there have been some long waits, but you can only make these hot subs so fast and they get really busy. My only really complaint is pretty minor, and may be a franchise wide issue? But I 've always tried to earn points with purchases and tracked them in their app on my phone. It used to be, any time I went into a Firehouse Subs, the PIN pad would ask for my phone number automatically to earn points. Now, it seems like it never does (at least at the Alton location) and I always have to remember to tell the cashier I want to earn points, and they have to key in my number manually."

"The sandwiches at this restaurant are amazing! Sometimes Subway doesn't cut it, but this place is superior. Not that Subway even compares. "Firehouse Subs has removed the option to place phone orders, requiring customers to order online instead. I'm not sure what happened to giving paying customers a choice, but we decided to take our business elsewhere. The most frustrating part is that when you call their number and press "3" to reach a manager, the call immediately disconnects (I tried several times). It's really disappointing; aside from a few places, genuine customer service seems to be a thing of the past. I have no intention of returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"Love firehouse subs. Have friends who have worked for them. This location in specific tho, there is a gentleman and women who seem very… involved. Totally fine I understand being in a relationship with someone you work with but showing PDA while customers are in store may be a little to much. Also Autumn does the least amount of work as any of those employees in there. She is a problem. I spend plenty of money there and everytime she’s had to make my sandwich there was hair or something messed up on my sand which. Anytime another worker makes my sandwich my sandwich comes out in a timely manner and doesn’t have hair or something wrong on it. Also like I’ve said I have friends who have worked for this fire house and when I’ve had to pick them up I’ve seen this employee go use the restroom and come back out and the entire bathroom smell like cigarettes after she comes back out because it reaks into the store and when my friends who do not smoke cigarettes come out smelling like straight sandwich’s and cigarettes I can only put two and two together after watching her walk out of the bathroom. Also she does not only do it after hours but I’ve been inside the store buying a sandwich when she walked out of a smoke filled bathroom and the smell of cigarettes overwhelmed the sandwiches being made. I’m not sure how many other people were in there but the ones I saw got there food and left immediately. I’ve seen her walk off the line during busy hours. I’ve seen her treat other workers with the upmost disrespect. I do not want to be helped by her so I ask others to help and I ask that others make my sandwich. I will continue to give business but that employee needs to be reprimanded in some way. From my stand point as someone who has to run their own employees and workers I would never want her running anything and she says that she is a manager? Love the subs but AUTUMN needs to be fired or docked pay or actusllt reprimanded. From here the worst employee. Lack of leadership. Lack of effort. Lack of respect for others. Do better."

"The best subs in Houston, Texas. Fresh ingredients and made to order. I happened to mention that it was our first time there on a recommendation from my daughter. And the female participants were always so friendly, explain the whole setup /menu even recommend the most popular menu items. The service was great. The place is picturesque, clean with a festive atmosphere and historical memorial. Homage to Firefighters First Responders as American as Apple Pie. Definitely worth a trip. With different locations to serve you."

"I've gone a few times now since they opened a month or 2 ago. I originally discovered the Firehouse franchise while we were on vacation in Virginia. After going there for lunch one day, we were hooked (no pun intended) and set out to discover one in our native New Jersey. After finding one in Princeton we've gone there a few times, and were thrilled to discover this one opening in Ramsey. The first time someone picked it up for me while at work, and upon returning it was a bit cold and not as enjoyable as I remembered. The next time, I went to pick it up after ordering online. They need to get their order process a bit improved as it was lagging; when I arrived 10 minutes after it was scheduled to be ready, it was not yet. There were several other people waiting for an online order as well and the communication was lacking. After completing 2 orders they put the bags on the back counter without saying anything, while there were clearly 4 people standing by the pick up rack. After another minute I asked and one of the orders that had been previously made was mine. The chip selection was good and the Coke freestyle machine is always a treat. I will return in the hope they are just experiencing new opening pains."

"the most inconsistent firehouse i've been to. today my sandwich was cold, and they gave me the most absurd amount of mayonnaise i've ever seen. i can heat up my food, but there is so much mayonnaise it's almost funny. this picture is after i wiped all the excess from the outside of the sandwhich... yeah, the OUTSIDE of the sandwich. who eats this much mayo, man? sometimes they nail it, but sometimes it's just insane that they would give that to someone."

"3.3.22 - THIS BUSINESS IS NO LONGER HERE! I tried to update it, but Google won't let me! This location has now become Classy Nails and Spa. The staff is friendly and welcoming. "This entire experience was a disaster. I placed my $40 order for 2 sub combos, for 1:50 and arrived right then. When i arrived I was not greeted or spoken to at all, the employees were just talking behind the counter. I proceeded to wait 10 minutes *after my pickup time* only to receive 2 very poorly made sandwiches. The first had the wrong cheese, the bread was hard and overcooked, and had half the portion of toppings as usual. The second sub also had hard bread, while this had the correct cheese, it had no pickles, and the tomatoes tasted like cleaning supplies. After choking down a quarter of my sub i had to throw it away along with my $40. Would not recommend."

"This was my first time at a Firehouse Subs so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a cheerful employee who asked if it was our first time, she explained the whole menu for us including what their best sellers nationwide and here in Wisconsin are. Me and my girlfriend both enjoyed our subs, that are kinda unique in the fact that they are served warm. A refreshing change from your average cold sub at a Cousins/Subway,Ect. The firehouse decor is cool and the Coke freestyle machine is always nice. I really enjoyed the FHS Cherry Limeade which is an option on the freestyle. Overall a cool dining experience and will be my go to when I want a warm sub. The friendly staff combined with the delicious food sold me."

"Recently, I visited this restaurant with my son to take advantage of the T-Mobile Tuesday deal, and I must say, the place really needs air conditioning. There were flies buzzing around, which made it difficult to enjoy our food. Additionally, they didn't have any ice cream available, so we ended up with warm drinks. "I understand that businesses can get busy and may overlook things occasionally, and I usually try to let it slide. However, I placed an online order for pickup at 12:35, but didn’t receive my order until around 12:50. I had ordered a sub for someone else and a salad for myself, using a reward for the salad. I customized both items, and the changes were reflected on my receipt. Unfortunately, I had to hurry back to work, so I couldn't check my order before leaving. The sandwich was fine, but my salad was completely wrong. It feels like every time I visit this location, something goes amiss with my order, and it seems like the staff doesn’t really care. At this point, I probably won’t be coming back. Paying $20 for a salad that I didn’t receive, along with a bag of chips and a sandwich, is just too much when the order is incorrect."

"I placed a web order for pickup on Tuesday. I get there no greeting but the lady who walked in before me gets greeted and next guy after me walks in gets greeted. The lady at the counter walks to lady who walked in before me to find out her order, which is a pickup order. This lady ignores me. I have to walk up the counter ask for my order. I find out it's still being worked on. They are busy and dining area is full. The wait is no issue but being ignored is. The other lady waiting for her order gets walked to by the counter lady and asked about her order, then handed to her in a bag with a handle. I get my named yelked out 20 minutes later to fetch my food laying on the counter. The difference between me and the other lady is I'm darker. I did not want to think that is the issue but why else was I ignored. I lived in Lake Worth my whole life in fact my family started a restaurant there. I know customer service, and food service, and I know when I am getting treated less than others. I don't appreciate that experience. I will not be back. Then I get back to work the sandwiches have no labels to see what kind of sandwiches. I and my coworkers have to figure it out. Usually labels are placed on the package to indicate the difference."

"One thing I like about Firehouse is a consistent product that taste great, no matter where you are. The Powdersville Firehouse is no exception. All three of our sandwiches were phenomenal. The restaurant was relatively clean with only the Drink Machine in need of attention. All-in-all, this location represented the brand well and I would definitely visit again if I am back in this part of the country."

"As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted. They asked us if this was our first time at Firehouse. Since it was she was very helpful with everything. As for the food... Be careful getting a large unless you have a huge appetite. I ordered a large bacon ranch sandwich, when it came it could have fed my whole family. The establishment was very clean inside."

"The young man that answered the phone when I called to place my order actually picked up the phone and then began complaining about having to take a call-in order, while the phone was close enough to pick up what he was saying. That should have been my first sign not to order. After arriving just after 8:15 p.m., the staff were complaining out loud about how they were ready to go but had so many orders left; they close at 9 p.m. They even went as far as discouraging other customers from placing orders, over-emphasizing that there would be a 25-plus minute wait every time someone came through the door. It’s one thing to let customers know up front about a wait time, it’s another thing when you are complaining that customers keep coming, out loud, where you can be heard. One of the workers even tried to suggest to a small group of people that had entered after myself, that they try Chic-fil-a instead. The entire time I waited for my order to be completed, the staff sat and complained about customers placing orders, with over half an hour before closing time. To make matters worse, I arrived home to discover all 3 of my sandwiches were burnt. Poor customer service experience and poor-quality food."
