"Clean, bright, cheerful staff and tasty diner food. They have very tasty blended coffees and I heartily recommend the mexican mocha. I would have given this a 5 but they stated they were out when we asked for the fried mushrooms. We had been excited but were disappointed when they said they were out. The spinach omlette is also very tasty with its feta cheese."

"I never actually had the chance to eat at this restaurant, but my experience trying to locate it and purchase a gift certificate left much to be desired. A few years ago, I wanted to give my brother and his partner a gift certificate to Il Garage for Christmas. Despite hearing good and strange things about the place, I struggled to find it on Beach Boulevard. The confusing parking situation led me to Park Ave instead, which seemed to be somehow connected to Il Garage. After a series of misunderstandings and awkward interactions with the staff, I was finally able to purchase a gift certificate for $100. Unfortunately, both Park Ave and Il Garage are now closed, so my money may have gone to waste. Overall, the experience felt pretentious and outdated in all the wrong ways."

"A solid find for well priced diner food. Breakfast, burger, sandwich, salad and Mexican menus. All the basics done well without breaking the bank. You order up front, so it feels somewhere between a fast food joint and a cafe, but the food is definitely on the cafe side. The staff is friendly and glad to be there, which makes the place feel good."

"Myself along with 4 other friends had decided to venture out of our comfort zone try some new cuisine. After an hour or so of combing through recommendations I can absolutely say we chose the best restaurant. The service, selection flavors were nothing short of authentic. Which made our experience evermore pleasant. Irawaddy is highly recommended!"

"The hostess disappeared for mins. We had reservations and were not seated until even though there were plenty of open tables. It took well over an hour to receive our food they were 'very busy', no they weren't. We finished our drinks long before any of our food arrived. When i asked for a refillon my diet coke i was told they didn't do free refills. I would have thought that since they kept apologizing for how long things were taking even though we didn't ask or complsin, they could have given me a free refill. The food was delicious though, but the length of time to receive it and the lack of a top up on my drink means we won't be back"

"My wife and I have driven by this place over and over again. So today we decided to try it out and it there food was really good. I got a chicken and bean burrito, my mom and brother got a cheeseburger and fries, wife and kiddo got breakfast, it was all good. I would highly recommend"

"We stopped in on impulse and have a new favorite. We were quickly greeted a seated at this Clay City Authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu had several options that sounded promising and I ordered Pollo La Finca. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful ensemble of chicken, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms heated to just the right heat to release different flavor notes. I’m totally that girl who will take all the meat and pick at the veggies, but I ate all the vegetables because it was that good. The chips were fresh, the salsa spicy, and the queso so hot it was thin on the chip. My companion had tamales and chili relleno, and cleaned his plate. We may be back the same week and will look for it during future stays to the area."

"Tell me this picture doesn't look delicious! that wasn't it. I couldn't believe it. I had to put a black sauce from a bottle that they had on the table to make them edible. it is as if the chef forgot to put any spice on it. the fried beans they were just something that had taste and above all because of the bagged Fiesta cheese on it. my mind has flown as it was with an additional page reis. the server lady was nice and attentive, but therefore I do not leave 1 star and left 5 stars for the service."

"My wife and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for a couple of years, but we have never left a review before. We hadn't visited in about 6 months, so we decided to have breakfast here this morning. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they recently started serving a Sunday brunch buffet three weeks ago, and let me tell you, it was amazing. The buffet featured a wide array of delicious Mexican dishes. The price for unlimited visits to the buffet is $27.00 per person if you opt out of the bottomless mimosas, which I did because I prefer their great margaritas. The buffet includes an omelet station, taco station, huevos Ranchero, chilaquiles, Birria, tamales, mini cheese enchiladas, mole chicken, aguachiles shrimp, fresh ceviche, menudo and pozole, and other delectable treats. This unexpected surprise made our day. If you're not a fan of buffets, you can still order from the regular menu. This place will now be our go-to spot for curing those Saturday fuzzy heads."

"The receipt was in Thai that's how authentic this place is. Tom Yum Soup Cup $8) the size was still a bit disappointing for the price. Such a good balance of sweet sour and savory. Only comment was we had a lot of the aromatics in the soup like ginger and lemongrass than the other ingredients. Pad Thai $12) although it looked a bit pale in color, the flavor was there not too sweet. The container size looks small but they packed enough to serve 2 people. Pad Kee Mao $12) we chose very little spicy however it was SPICY max 2 bites before having to drink water. Im not sure if it was a mistake or I keep forgetting the Thai spice level is different than western levels. Bbq medium rare beef $17) one of their popular dish. It was cooked to perfection and sliced thinly. The spicy sauce goes a long way. I did find it to be a tad salty. Definitely will be ordering again!"

"I would say the service we received here was five stars. We had other places we wanted to try so we only wanted one banh xeo to try and the person ringing us up, offered to cut it in half for us, and they even put it in separate containers. We didn't even ask her to do this and it was very kind of her to do so. They even gave us separate fish sauce and chilis for each box. The food I would say is about a 2 1/2 stars. The bamh xeo was too tough. It didn't have the crunchy but soft texture I am used to. The fish sauce was too salty for my taste, I am used to a more garlicky and sweeter sauce for banh xeo. The veggies they gave us was very fresh on the other hand, and it was plenty. I would have liked to have more filling inside the bamh xeo as there were only a few pieces of shrimp, pork, and not that much of the bean sprouts inside.Overall, my personal opinion is that the Banh xeo here needs more flavor, filling and a crunchier texture to the banh xeo. However, for people who have not grown up eating this dish and don't have a preference for how it should taste, I think you would pretty much enjoy this. The other thing we ordered was the pork belly fries and I'd have to say this was a lot better than the banh xeo. The pork belly on the fries was a little tough. I don't know if it was over cooked or it was older because we did come closer to closing time but the texture on the pork belly meat was a bit too tough. However, flavors of the pork belly and the sauces on top paired with the french fries is a great combination. I would recommend getting the pork belly fries over the banh xeo. We also got their churros with Vietnamese coffee dipping sauce. I didn't like the churros that much, it was on the harder side but the Vietnamese coffee dipping sauce was good and very creative. Overall the banh xeo here wasn't for me but you should try for yourself! Please keep in mind that I've grown up eating this and even make it myself so I'm very particular about my banh xeo. The only restaurant that I've had banh xeo that I really liked was Quan Mii in Westminster or fountain valley. Other than that... I prefer to make my own. Obviously a lot of other people like it so see for yourself :"

"We visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning for breakfast. It was busy, but not crowded, and we were able to find a seat right away and were served promptly. However, the food took a long time to come out - over an hour. Some people who ordered after us received their food before we did. Once our food arrived, it was excellent. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I would give this restaurant another try, but I was a little disappointed with the service this time. My rating for the food is 5, service is 3, and atmosphere is 3."

"keeps 0 stars honest. there is always a problem every time I come, but this time they were particularly rude. I ordered the lunch for me and my staff and read a list of what everyone wanted with the names of the combos as they have the menu listed on them. I said word for word “can I get the 2 chicken chalupa supreme combo?” from any strange reason the rude casser salvador has come back to me when I waited for the job to be done. he never gave me the acknowledgement, so I asked and saw that he had set 2 orders of the Chalupa combo. I wasn't even mad, I just wanted one to what he reacted rudely, that they didn't say the Chalupa commo, and that and that gave me all the time. I apologized for the misunderstanding and he never did. I told him at the end, I read it literally as it was listed on the menu and ordered for several people. somehow the worst tacoglocke. I worked in food service and I understand that it is hard, but they don't have to be rude from no reason salvador."
