"As a former delivery driver, do not EVER order delivery from this location. The employees actively ignore the front of the store and all deliveries. This store very obviously has taught their staff that the order of importance for customers is: 1. Drive-thru 2. Drive-thru 3. Mobile orders 4. Parking spot pickup orders 5. Front of house orders placed using the self help machines 6. Begrudgingly taking an order from a customer who insists on having a human help them instead of having to type in their own order 7. Delivery orders If you insist on ordering McDonald's for delivery, then I'd recommend any other location in the area. Well, maybe not the one on Fall Creek and 86th. That location at least only falls behind when they're super busy. This location is 10-15 minutes late no matter the time of day or day of the week."

"At first, they said they could honor my breakfast order, but I needed to pay by card. I explained that my payment had to go through the app, but they still declined to help me. I suggested that since it was their mistake, they could let me pay for something that costs the same and just give me the breakfast I ordered, but they refused to cooperate. The manager, Roxanne, was particularly unhelpful and displayed poor customer service skills. I've dealt with another manager, Florence, in the past when I had an issue with my order, and she was much more accommodating and understanding. She recognized that when the company errs, customers should be given some flexibility. In the end, the $12.12 charge went through on my card anyway, making the whole experience frustrating and indicative of terrible service."

"I will not be returning. This place is simply the worst. It's conveniently located right off the highway, but they seem unable to keep or find staff. We had to wait four cars deep in the drive-thru, and it took an hour for our food to be brought to the table. While it's nice that they serve you at the table, it becomes impractical when there's only one employee managing 30 to 40 customers. We've tried this location several times and always experienced slow service and cold food. I really hope they consider increasing wages to attract more employees. It’s disheartening to see the staff working so hard but still falling behind. The tables were dirty, and the restroom hadn't been cleaned in days. The conditions were very poor. We arrived during the lunch rush, which might have contributed to the issues."

"I ordered a burger with extra pickles, but when I received it, it looked like someone had thrown a handful of onions on it. When I brought it back, the staff informed me that the burgers are cooked with onions and I would need to request a special patty if I wanted one without onions. This was news to me, as I have never encountered this before. I understand that there may be some stray onions during the sandwich-making process, but the lack of communication and attention to detail at this McDonald's in Winnebago, Illinois is concerning. Additionally, I observed at least two employees on their phones while handling food orders, which raises concerns about cross-contamination. It is important for the staff to do better and maintain proper hygiene practices to ensure the safety of their customers."

"I just picked up my lunch—a McChicken with cheese—from this conveniently located restaurant near my workplace. Although the staff and the work environment seemed organized, I ran into an issue when they gave me the wrong type of bread for my McChicken. I also found it frustrating that they keep phone numbers for orders. Instead, it would be more efficient for them to use a large screen to display order numbers as they’re ready for pickup, especially during busy times. This would definitely improve the experience! It would be much better to wait for our order number on a big screen rather than relying on phone notifications."

"Waited first off for 10 minutes till someone was ready to order through drive through. Another car pulled up outside lane and they were giving their order while we still waited for our order to be taken. So I pulled around to cashier window and she was totally confused. Seems there is no proper training these days and no one knows what customer service means. McDonalds should hire me as a consultant to visit their locations and rate what they could and need to do yo be the McDonalds I once new . I used to look forward to eating out, I certainly do not anymore. It’s like someone threw the switch and everything and everyone is operating in clueless mode. Unless it’s an emergency and so need good now, don’t plan on me being a loyal customer"

"very bad customer service by your employees and management. got food thrown at me. medium fry box wasn't even half full. I didn't receive all.of my order bc they claimed I didn't pay for it. refused to give me a receipt. I also.offered to.pay for the sandwich they said I didn't pay for.and they told me I'd have to get back in the drive thru line that I had just sat a good 20 to 25 min in. The manager on duty Logan VanSkyock told the girl at the pick up window to tell me to leave without all of my order."

"This place just isn't the way it was 10 years ago. It's gotten worse, the inside is just dead, there isn't much to offer anymore. The interior is bland, the food is mediocre compared to other McDonalds, and the service is okay. I got food here recently and it was nothing like other McDonalds. Would recommend the sebewaing McDonalds over this one. Overall just mediocre. Kid-friendliness: Not as kid friendly as it used to be. Nothing to offer, just go drive through. "The food here is quite good, but I've experienced a mistake every time I've visited, which is a bit strange. Today, I ordered extra bacon on a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel because one slice ripped in half, and I thought, "Seriously?" I ordered and paid for the extra bacon, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with my bagel. It’s disappointing, but I’ll definitely come back. Someone has to satisfy my bagel craving!"
