"First I want to say that I've been coming here since I was a little 10 year old boy. For the last 25 years we've loved and supported this place so much. Tonight I had a very bad experience with one of the managers( Tall skinny guy with short hair, blue shirt light hair as I stepped out of the way so he could pass. My son and I wear masks and do not eat in the restaurantbut we always order our food to go after our family eats. After we stepped out of the way for the manager and said you go aheadsir he gave me the worst dirty look and didn't even acknowledge me and then went 2 steps to the bar and talked with his friendsat the bar. We are just starting to come out of covid and ready to demask and had planned on coming to the brown bottle at leastevery two weeks from now on like we used to. Let me say though the owner is an amazing man who is very kind which is why I'mgiving three stars instead of one. He welcomed us to my birthday dinner like we belonged there. It is because of him that I willbe returning. Amazing owner and amazing food. Hopefully after my next visit I can change it back to five stars. I'll tell youthat never again will I step out of the way for that manager who looked at my son and I like we were freaks with completedisrespect. My child is diabetic with an auto immune disease so we have to be safe. I just wish we weren't judged in a place mygrandpa always took us to as kids."

"4.3 stars. 1st time to visit. Arrived 15m early and was told that they could not find a reservation under our name. They looked and looked and looked. We showed them the text message showing we had confirmed the reservation which helped as they saw that for some reason the system had cancelled our reservation. They sat us quickly afterwards. Luis took care of us during the meal and was on top of things! From answering our various questions to going over the current specials, he did a wonderful job making sure we had the scoop. We ordered the famous cornbread $14 as our appetizer. Moist, slightly sweet, visually appealing, we made quick work of it. For our entrees, my wife had the Skate Wing Sandwich $20 with the garlic fries. It was delicious as she shared a bite. I opted for the Wagyu Beef Cheeks $42 which was succulent and fork tender. We shared an order of Crispy Brussels Sprouts $13 which was tasty though would’ve benefited from better plating maybe in a skillet? . My wife had a Citra Slice IPA draft $8 which she enjoyed too. To wrap things up, we decided to share a White Chocolate Lava Cake $16 . The anticipation and expectation was high as the meal had been good thus far. Unfortunately, there was not much “lava” and the cake was quite dry. The peppermint ice cream atop the cake was flavorful but could not salvage the slight letdown. Overall, dinner and tip ran $147 which was largely due to location Downtown Dallas . If this were in the suburbs, the bill would’ve been $20 to $30 cheaper. Still, Billy Can Can had many good notes and will definitely be worked into the business dinner venue rotation. Thanks again Luis for the stellar service. My wife and I truly appreciated your professionalism. Parking: Ask for Luis E as he was attentive, pleasant and professional."

"I'm a bit disappointed with this place honestly, especially with service. Food was at best 4 stars. It wasn't the worst Korean fusion food I've been had. But at the same time, they could improve. When you walk in, it's a very interesting place. It wants to be a Korean pocha, but it feels Mexican at the same time with the artwork on the wall. The best thing it had was the 90s K-pop playlist they had playing. Menu is super simple. But anything more complicated I don't think they could have handled. I was hoping for more to be completely honest. The soy garlic wings were extremely salty and very garlicky. So be prepared to have garlic breath for the rest of the night. And need to guzzle water too. The BULGOGI quesadilla was ok. Definitely on the sweeter side but could have been worse. The fries were pretty good. Service was at most a two star for me. I heard this place is under new management. So you'll have to be patient and give them time. Don't come here if you're pressed for time before the Red Bulls game. The manager herself literally has to watch over everything otherwise it falls apart. The table next to us stood up and left because no one came over to take their order. The manager had to do a lot of service recovery. They can't keep track of their orders and what table they belonged to. The guy receiving and delivering the food went to all the wrong tables with food and even came to us with more food meant for another table AFTER we had already paid. As someone who has worked in restaurants, I cringed at the disaster going down the drain. The waiter who was training was lost in the sauce and didn't know what to do with himself. The host also could have been way more helpful to the staff. The manager had to make all the drinks as the bartender too. Their systems did not work. So many things fell apart. The weirdest part was we were all served in takeout containers. They forgot to give us silverware and then proceeded to give us plastic ware. Forgot to give us plates for sharing our appetizers. Needed to ask for that too. We saw other customers going up to their stash of plastic ware to grab it themselves. Idk if they didn't have a dishwasher or something. But when we walked by on our way home after the game, all the tables were set up nicely with really silverware and plates."

"it only got the stars for the quality of the food. only our waitress was nice. She was amazing. the people behind the Deli counter looked like they didn't care when you came in. the lady who took our money into the register was not friendly and they also demolished us. I and my father ordered a meal and got one for my stepmother. our meals came with a sandwich and two sides. the bill was almost ten dollars more than it should have been because for the order, instead of the two sides with the sandwich like our, they charged us individually for each side, and when she told us all this, my father said. and we just looked at it to find out, and instead of saying something, the cashier just looked around and didn't care. did not ask if there is a problem or something. they sat like an old lady in a salon when they are under the hair dryer and read a magazine and don't even let me go to the B.s monetary policy! I am quite old school and was raised in the country, but even I know that most people use debit cards for almost everything. it's not lovely or charming or old-fashioned, it's stupid. it makes me control and pay people under the table and others shady go up and I'm sure they're totally legit and I'm an idiot asking this, but I don't care. eating itself is great, but it is not worth to tear or tear off the rudeness. I can't cook well italian or big grill or fry decent chicken, but I can make my own sandwich. my father always supports Jewish business, but even he said he would never go back. you don't have to know more."
