"Came here for restaurant week dinner and a bit disappointed. I was excited to visit and so many good reviews but didn't feel on par. Service was great and professional. Quaint and small place. Intimate I presume but can also hear servers talking. Wish restaurant week menu had better options. Not sure why escargot wasnt represented or understood tartar was an entree. Soup looked great, froi gras good but very heavy and one more crostini would have helped, watermelon salad was nothing special. We got hanger steaks. Mine had a lot of butter, small pool, first bite and I just wanted salt. The sides were kind of whatever. Carrot puree was good and buttery, but the others were just sauteed sides and blanched brocolli better seasoned than my steak. The potato was ok but came out smaler than the desserts. And desserts were lacking. Too much powdered sugar that I coughed in as I was taking a bite. Just two thin hollow pastries split and filled with house made whip. The whip was good but come on it's not hard to make. And the pastries look bought. I feel I've had a cheesecake or tiramisu more worth it from past restaurant week dinner menus. The other dessert was hard and unexpected but tasted great. Overall, didnt seem like a restaurant week dinner. Didnt really make me excited about French food. And felt really cheap with the half cherry tomato on my plate (literally just one half of a small tomato), with the edible flower, and especially after getting the check with kid's lollipops sticking out. For a $60 meal, it felt cheap and embarrassing. I wish we were told the fish was stripped bass or whatever. The table next to us asked and it sounded good. It just felt like we picked the least interesting things or something but at the same time nothing interesting was showcased"

"My family came in for mother's day brunch and we were not impressed. Our server never introduced herself to my family and instead we overheard her say that she was annoyed that no one was tipping 20%. We waited about 20 mins before we received our mimosas and had our orders taken. We received a plate of 4 biscuits 20 minutes after placing our order. We did not get any plates and I had to walk up to the bar and ask for plates. The soup arrived about a half hour after we received the rolls. The soup was incredibly salty and we didn't have any water on our table. I had to again go up to the bar and ask for water as our table was not tended to. Then we waited for 45-50 minutes to receive our main course. I ordered rare steak and eggs and received cold eggs with incredibly tough, salty, and burnt steak. I did not get a steak knife and didn't want to send the meal back as the waitress did not return to ask how our meal was so I decided to eat it as to not ruin mother's day brunch. We asked for boxes and water after waiting with our finished plates in front of us for 20 min. We never received the water and I had to again ask for it. As we waited for dessert, my family grew so annoyed with the innatentive service that I went to the bar to ask for our check. The creme brule was the best part of the meal but it still wasn't fantastic. This brunch was 50 a person and the food was most definitely not worth the price. If the food is that price, it should be worth it. But no part of our dining experience was worth it. Highly disappointed with the whole ordeal and wish I would have spent my money elsewhere. The worst part is that there were only 4 other tables dining at the restaurant so there really was no excuse for the poor service and poorly prepared food."
