"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"Initially, I thought they were just new and were still getting the hang of things when they struggled to pack my food properly. For example, they once placed my cup of orange juice and coffee inside a plastic bag. I asked for a paper bag instead, and the cashier simply handed it to me, expecting me to do it myself. I understood that there was a line behind me, so I didn't mind doing it. However, during my next visit, when I was trying to pay with my credit card, the cashier rudely told me to "just tap, tap, tap" on the machine repeatedly. I let that go, hoping it was just a one-off. But on a third occasion, when I approached the register with my plate of food from the buffet, she bluntly instructed me to "put it on the scale," again with a dismissive tone. I really don’t understand why the cashiers have developed such an attitude."

"This place should be monitored by the health inspectors, and the workers should be fired. I walked in expecting a really nice Deli but realized it was a low-budget spot by the way the 2 workers were acting. The guy behind the counter looked high, and the guy making the sandwiches was obviously more interested in talking rather than taking orders. Nothing is arranged properly as far as drinks and items on the shelves and the floor are filthy. There are papers and other cardboard box pieces strewn about. I am sure they are infested with rodents and roaches by the way they maintain this place. I immediately walked out and would find another place to eat. Not the Riverdale, I remember"

"Bread and butter is a Korean chain deli in Manhattan. I go there a lot because it’s close to my office in Murray Hill in Manhattan. The main reason why I love going there is because of the half price deli $4.99/lb) starting at 3pm. Although the variety is not as good as lunch time, you still get a decent amount of food and variety for way less than $10. My favorite meat at Bread and Butter is Bossam, which is Korean slow cooked pork belly. It’s seasoned very well with just the right amount of fat that makes it very tender juicy. In addition to the buffet bar, Bread and Butter also serves pastries and coffee, sandwiches, salads, soups and sushi. I also really recommend their soup bar, especially the seafood bisque, which has many kinds of seafood in it. Overall, if you are around Korea town or Murray Hill and would like a quick meal, Bread and Butter if definitely one of the best options. I highly recommend it!!"

"Best bagels on the UWS. I see people here complaining about prices and wait times. Most of the time I don 't get my bagels with anything on them, which may explain why I don 't have these issues?I usually buy just the bagels, get cream cheese separately from the supermarket (or sometimes a 1/4 pound container of their specialty cream cheese, usually garlic herb), and perform the necessary procedures at home myself. This is the old Upper West Side way of doing things, dating back to when the old H H Bagels on 80th Broadway ruled the UWS. (The new one on Columbus 85th 86th belongs to the H H Bagels East company, which is different and not as good).The old H H sold both bagels and cream cheese, but would not assemble them together for you. You were expected to do this yourself at home. I guess I just got used to doing things that way.Anyway. Ever since H H closed, Tal Bagels has consistently had the best bagels in the neighborhood. The everything bagels are absolutely perfect, and they have whole wheat everything too.The staff is rude because they are relentlessly overworked and always exhausted. Please try to be patient with them, and consider maybe dropping a few dollars in the tip jar. The guys who show up at 4 AM or whenever to open are the same guys who close in the evening. On top of that, there 's usually only 2 of them serving customers, and the place gets pretty busy.This is also why the closing time listed here is not quite correct (6 PM every day? LOL). They close early as often as they can, occasionally as early as 2:30 PM on Sunday. Go as early as possible, and don 't count on them being open after 4 PM."

Although participation is dependent on individual locations policies I was told I don 't think this coupon is for this location. This response made no sense at all and was accepted previously. The inconsistent application of policy leads to a bad customer service experience...but what can you expect from McDonald 's. I will just take my business else where and not spend again at this location."

"The food was quite tasty, but I found the prices to be a bit steep—nearly $20 for a small soup, a side of maduros, and a single delicious beef empanada. They do offer a 10% discount for online orders through their website, but unfortunately, that site is currently down. They really need to fix this issue or reconsider offering the discount altogether. The clientele is quite diverse, and while they have some interesting promotions, they sometimes fall short, leading to awkward moments for their staff with unhappy customers. I almost reconsidered paying after having difficulty getting my issue sorted out. This is the only Spanish restaurant I know of that charges extra for rice and beans as sides with the pernil. Furthermore, the short Spanish server didn’t provide the crispy skin, which is the best part of the pernil. Why are they so stingy with their portion sizes?"

"Just went here, 11:48pm they close at 12am. I wanted 3 sodas. We wait at the drive thru and see the manager run out the door and go back inside. The drive through light and machinery was on and working. We waited for around 5 minutes and said hello and tried to get their attention. No one answers the drive through so we pull to the window (with 2 cars ahead of us getting their food and drinks) and we wait another few minutes (11:57pm at this point) and a employee comes up and tells us it is closed. We say we just want 3 sodas even though it isn’t closed and if they could accommodate that since it takes 5 seconds. Then, the manager comes up and RUDELY says “We are closed” and complains that she worked 11 hours and wanted to go home. She stated that they closed at 11:55pm (even though it says online that they close at 12am). She then said have a nice day after ignoring us just asking for the 3 sodas and could even pay in cash if the credit machine is turned off and slammed the window in our face. Very rude and I get it okay you wanna go home but 3 sodas takes 5 seconds and does not need to be rudely taken. She could’ve kindly stated that they were closed and said come back in the morning or go to the other location that is open. But she was nasty and did not want to do her job. Do not come late night even though they are open and do have their to do their job. We all work long hours and could’ve been happier with a soda."

"I doubt this review will make a difference to the management and owners, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I would recommend staying away from this location. The cleanliness of the restaurant is lacking, with restrooms that are in terrible condition. The tables and chairs were dirty as well. Customer service was disappointing; no one seemed interested in helping when I had a question, and the digital menus weren't even functioning. As for the food, the sandwiches were poorly assembled and the fries were only lukewarm. It’s clear that the staff doesn't prioritize service, and I get the sense that management is more focused on profits than on providing a good experience in Annandale. "Update: 3/16 This place continues to be a catastrophe. It has finally made me speechless. How an operation, as bad as this, continues to get worse and worse is truly amazing. Original Review Where do I start with this hole in the Earth? I am a working professional and honorable veteran. I am not some out of work, out of shape, old crusty human being. I come here once every week and order two value meals and maybe desserts. Never, and I mean never, can this place handle the order EVERY SINGLE TIME I AM SENT TO PARK THE CAR AND WAIT. It 's surreal, really. It does not matter what day it is or what time of day. This has been going on for more than a year (when I moved nearby). I always keep my mouth shut but today was the final straw. Monday afternoon. No cars in the parking lot. Simple order. And, of course I am sent to a parking space. Then, despite a very polite request that was politely confirmed with the lovely smile of the young associate, EVERYTHING IS WRONG AND/OR AWFUL! Coke is flat and very strange tasting Big Mac has more sauce on it than it does anything else McFlurry (M M) is 2/3rd full and ice cream is sour tasting As mentioned above, I politely requested extra sauces for the nuggets and extra ketchups for my fries and I received ONE SAUCE FOR THE NUGGETS AND NO KETHCUP. I was told they were waiting on my fries (fries were NOT hot and dowsed with salt) I received Spicy Nuggets but did not order them (I 'm allergic to most ingredients found in spicy foods) So, now, here I am AFTER SPENDING 31 of money I work so hard for, sitting in my living room eating a disgusting meal. We all know this is ultimately a problem at the corporate level. But enough is enough the Manager at this store working at 3 P.M. on Monday 2/12/24 needs to be terminated instantly. Furthermore, I would terminate the entire staff. Have the incoming manager open the filing cabinet and start interviewing. Lastly any and every new staff member should be hired on a probationary period. If you cannot fulfill a McDonald 's order and prevent ONE QUARTER of the issues aforementioned while on shift and receiving a paycheck then you deserve a well fare check (AND NOTHING MORE). Absurd. I just spent 31 f* #g dollars. P.S. Most days the parking lot smells like garbage from the dumpsters. UPDATE: DO NOT EAT HERE TODAY (2/12/24) EVERYTHING TASTES TAINTED (FRIES, MEAT, SODA, ICE CREAM) CALLING REGIONAL OFFICE DIRECT."

"All I wanted was a Coke and a breakfast sandwich, but while I waited, I noticed the place was in disarray. The trash was overflowing, the floor was dirty, and there was a grimy rag on the table next to me. I get that many places are understaffed right now, but this McDonald's was overwhelmed, and it seems like the management needs to step up. The employees were clearly struggling to manage orders and couldn’t address the mess around them. After spending way more time than I should have in this chaotic McDonald’s just to get a sausage biscuit, it better be hot when I finally receive it."

"I tried the burger shortly after lunch and I have a feeling it might have been left over from the night before. The top of the bun was mushy and fell apart when I tried to bite into it. The cheese was a darker orange than usual and had started to dry out and harden at the edges. The ketchup also looked like it was beginning to dry up. Despite these issues, it was still a McDonald's burger, so it tasted pretty much the same as always."

"I recently ordered lunch from this restaurant, and I couldn't be more pleased. The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5! I highly recommend trying the Chicken McNuggets, Cheeseburger, and Big Mac – they were all delicious. The service was equally impressive, also scoring a perfect 5. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the takeout process smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant deserves a 5 as well.
