"I believe it is important for all employees to be grateful for their jobs and greet customers with a smile when taking orders. However, I am extremely frustrated with the service at this restaurant. Every time I visit, I am always asked to move to the reserved section and wait for my order. If I wanted to wait for my food, I would not go to a fast food restaurant! The management really needs to improve the way this place is run. I used to give this McDonald's 4 stars, but now I can only give it 1. It is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. As of 3/25/22, it is still the worst. It is not even 4 o'clock and we had to wait in the drive-thru/waiting area for 10 minutes. This is unacceptable, and to make matters worse, they forgot my drink! Almost every time I come here, I am asked to wait a few extra minutes for my order, usually because of missing fries. This place really needs to get its act together. It is completely disorganized and they are never prepared."

This McDonald's is always bustling with activity. I only come here when I have errands to run in Poughkeepsie. I always use the drive-thru, which has two lanes and moves quickly. The management clearly prioritizes the drive-thru experience. I have never had any negative experiences here. View menu

So... If you're not in the habit of paying for condiments, don't ask for extra syrup at this McDonald's. Plus I had to wait 5 minutes (seems short but is a long time when an employee is on his phone while there is a line) before being acknowledged. Clean but the experienced turned me off.

My husband stopped by the restaurant earlier today on a pregnancy craving run for me. The staff went above and beyond to spoil me! They not only got my order correct, but also filled my large fry box, added all the extra mayo I wanted on my sandwich, and even threw in a blueberry slushie for me to try as a suggestion. I absolutely loved it. When he returned home, he raved about how amazing everyone was at the McDonald's in Hyde Park. Thank you for making a pregnant woman happy.
