"My wife and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience due to what seemed like racial profiling. Despite being dressed formally for our special occasion, we were placed on the third floor next to the bar, surrounded by patrons in beach attire and casual wear. As we were being taken to our seats, the owner yelled out to the hostess taking us into the elevator to place us by the bar. The restaurant spans four floors of a converted townhome, and we noticed that the first floor had a dim, elegant ambiance and was predominantly occupied by Caucasian patrons, some dressed casually. While we were on the third floor, we requested to be placed on the first floor. After being seated on the first floor, we observed other patrons of different ethnicities also being directed to the upper floors, while several Caucasian individuals in casual attire were promptly seated on the first floor. It was evident that the two hostesses were properly trained to place people based on the owner's profiling. It's disheartening to witness such treatment, especially on a significant day for us. While the food was great, the experience was marred by what appeared to be clear racial profiling. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards ensuring a more inclusive and fair treatment of all their guests."
