"We just got married here. We are from the area but live in Washington now and wanted to go back for our wedding to avoid the financial burden of flying and housing our guests. We are BEYOND fortunate to have found Amanda. She was an absolute angel (I told her that multiple times throughout the evening)! We were able to plan the entire thing from 3k miles away without ever having met her and it was relatively stress free...she did literally everything!!! Every time I had a question and started to stress her answer was almost always I 'll take care of that . She made our dream wedding possible on our shoe string budget, and we didn 't have to do a thing except show up and have a blast. We got so many compliments on the food, the decor, and that beautiful bridge. Amanda...thank you"

Had a great 90th for my mother on Saturday. Upstairs in our own room, so comfortable and beautiful. Emily and the rest of the staff work so hard running up and down the stairs all night long! And of course the prime rib was outstanding. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Prime Rib Dinner

At 48 years old, Bull Run is quite possibly the best restaurant I've ever been to! My brother and SIL took me and my son here, we went on a Saturday night and the piano player was a wonderful treat! The popcorn calamari where to die for. Banana Cheesecake was made to perfection. The next day we went for Sunday brunch and I've never seen such delicious bacon portions as these guys serve up! I was utterly blown away on both visits, and wish I could find a place like this here in Texas. Kudos to you your staff, you all have knocked it out of the park! View menu

Went early on a Saturday for granddaughter's birthday. It was quite busy. Drinks arrived promptly, as did appetizers after about two sips of cocktail. Then dinner came, after we'd had about two spoonfuls of soup. Fried fish was dry, with too much remarkably tasteless breading, piled on top of fries, which were, of course, soggy because of the fish on top. Tiny serving of cole slaw. Onion soup tasted of brown sugar. The best thing I had was the cup of coffee at the end. All in all, a mediocre meal for a hefty price same experience I had the last time we were here for dinner, about five years ago.

After living in the area for over 8 eight years, we finally visited this longtime establishment. I wish we hadn 't waited so long. The food was good; we had the pulled pork tacos, the pan seared salmon special, and the sausage and ricotta pizza. Satisfying. So many more menu options sounded appealing it was difficult to choose. The drinks were great; the new old fashioned was a great twist on a favorite classic, and the watermelon jalapeno margarita almost melted my wife 's face off. But the real draw is the history of the place; it has a truly authentic vibe of a revolutionary era tavern. Will be back and would recommend!

"After a hard working day, when we made a series of Homr projects, we were tired and looking for something quick and easy to eat. we have been looking for google maps for good restaurants in our environment that we have not tried so far. I saw this place appearing and noticed that the inner looked so beautiful and beautiful. I thought the photos were 100% photoshopped. on long island there was no pizza place that had such a beautiful and clean interieur as this place. it looked like a photo from a chic Italian restaurant. we decided to try. So we ordered a pizza half bbq huh, and half the eggplant panmaean. we called in the order and told us 15 minuets. it was at $25. when we arrived there, we could not believe our eyes that this place looked as good as it was online in pictures. the place was nice and the food was also nice. my mother also noticed that for Sunday (today) free pizza and hot chocolate for children they advertised a celebration event. the pizza looked and smells so good. they were very generous with their beats. I also love how they do not smash their pizza with cheese. the pizza was not super fat and the crust was much softer than I used it. there was no single burned place on the pizza. the crust was perfectly tanned. this pizza was perfection. the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the BBQ sauce was really good and sweet with the chicken and cheese. also the aubergine parm was really good. I hate it when aubergins taste like gum on pizza. but her aubergine was very delicate and tasteful. with the perfect balance of the sauce. we had to eat the pizza with a fork and a knife because the stockings made the disc too heavy. we were all so full after we shared a pizza cake with us. we didn't even finish all the cake. I love this place definatly recommend it and definatly try more food from them."

"I took my wife for her birthday, we live local but haven’t eaten in this building since many years ago. the truth is we had a certain stigma about it owing to the previous restaurant, one we both disliked even before we met. Anyway, today was her birthday, we made reservations at Daphne’s in West Hampton but bailed because of the small menu and far drive. In trying to come up with a back up plan I remembered seeing the parking lot of La Buena Vida often packed, so I looked it up and saw almost 300 reviews averaging 4.5 stars. So I looked at the menu, I saw Paella, Tapas, I was sold. When I sent her the menu she was sold.We arrived and it was a beautiful early fall/late summer night so we decided to dine out on the deck, it was a great decision. Our server couldn’t have been more accommodating she offered to re seat us if the flies from the pond were to much, they weren‘t and we enjoyed the ambiance. After looking at the drink menu, we were again very impressed with service. My wife really wanted a la. buena vida margarita, but wanted it made blue. She graciously had the bar tender added the blue liquor to change the color. When time came to order we stared with the avocado crab bruschetta, it was a great decision and service was very quick. Next was the entree order, so we both ordered paella marinera. Again our server made a suggestion and informed us its a big serving, we could easily share it an order another tapa (which means she was also a mind reader). So after seeing how torn we were, she suggested an off menu item stuffed sweet plantain and upon hearing I didn’t wast meat graciously swapped out beef for shrimp. Our food was hand delivered and served onto our plates by the chef. This service was phenomenal, but even the amazing service did not compare to the perfection of our meal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and season, the sweetness of the plantain pair beautifully with the savory of the shrimp. The paella was also perfectly cooked, the saffron rice was amazing, with the generous amount of shrimp, scallops, clams, and mussels. The meal was very satisfying. For dessert the fried cheesecake was highly recommended and “Wow” is all either of us had to say. It was easily the apex of the meal, sweet savory, with a crunch, and a hot/cold temperatures balancing to perfection. Dessert even came with a song and ”Happy Birthday” in caramel. We strongly recommend this neighborhood gem. There is nothing like it around, the chef is talented, the staff is amazing. if you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for!?Dietary restrictions: I’m pescatarian, they were very accommodating."
