"First time at this establishment. Ambiance was nice service was good waiter seemed to be a little new compared to the others there. Food was good. Apparently they charge $4 to split a salad if we would have known we would have just asked for two plates and done it ourselves. Also they add a $2.99 service charge to the food as a way to keep menu prices down even though the menu prices are fairly high. If not realized this when we got the check. You can ask to have them take it off but still an in honest way to price gauge and sneak in hidden fees. Had a party of 8 wierd they didn’t automatically add 15-18 percent gratuity but I can see why when the suggested tips go up to 25%. First time there but was unaware of all these wierd price sneak ins. Will think twice about coming here again or will be more aware of prices. For an Italian place I would Probabaly consider Aldinos instead. The birthday singer was fantastic and a surprise but the food prices and sneak in fees turn me off. Usually don’t write reviews but felt like this place takes advantage a bit to make you feel better they have someone taken the effort to keep menu prices lower when it doesn’t really seem like they did."

"Never had food cooked by a Michelin star chef before. Chef O did not disappoint and was well deserving of the star. He has trained and met various high profile chefs but has such a personable and friendly personality. Food: We had a party of 6 and it was priced reasonably well for high quality food with elegant presentation. In Seattle and other metropolitan areas this would be almost double the amount. We did the Valentine's Day special and the first dish was an amuse bouche to clean our palate. Let me tell you, the oyster with wasabi caviar was amazing! Then we had the tuna carpaccio and the fried capers wow I wanted a dish of capers just as an app! Then came the main entree which was lobster risotto and it was pretty amazing as well. The sorbet and strawberry mousse very tasty as well. Perfect end to our evening! Ambiance: The decor was nice it felt like a mini art gallery and we sat upstairs. Unfortunately it was dark outside so we did not get to enjoy much of the view of the Slough but it did give some off some romantic vibes with the candlelit tables and dark lighting. if you are doing these 5 6 course dinner, be prepared to stick around for a few hours as it's all about the presentation and enjoying the flavors of the dishes. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this place if you are in Coos Bay."

"I hate the leave a bad review, but the service and food was just not good. I’ve been there for lunch before with just three people and the service and food was great. This time however, we went there for a banquet-style lunch/dinner (it was for a baptism celebration). There were probably about 40 of us and they reserved us a section of the restaurant. The drinks, bread, and food took forever to come out and the bread and food were cool/cold. In conclusion, definitely come here with a small group because they handle that great, but for a large group party/special room reservation it unfortunately just wasn’t great."

"We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant, and our meal was absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we sampled both the shrimp and the meatballs, and they were fantastic! We enjoyed the fresh mesclun salad, complemented perfectly by the sweet balsamic dressing. For our main courses, we ordered the eggplant Parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo, both of which were expertly prepared—cooked to al dente perfection and not at all watery! The Alfredo sauce and marinara were superb. To finish off the meal, we indulged in a rich chocolate mousse that was truly delightful. Our server, Kylie, was exceptionally friendly and efficient, enhancing our experience. We will definitely return; it's a wonderful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere."

"I received a recommendation to try this restaurant from a friend and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I dined with a group of friends and most of us ordered the wings, both the BBQ and buffalo flavors, which were some of the best I have had in a long time. We also ordered a side of fries, which were delicious as well. The service was efficient, considering the restaurant was quite busy. We were seated promptly upon arrival at 5 pm, but by the time we left at around 6:30-7, there were people waiting for seats. The restaurant also offers valet parking, although our car was conveniently close to the entrance. The restaurant is located by the water, providing a nice view especially for outdoor seating. It does get quite busy, so I would not recommend it for those who are uncomfortable in crowded environments (like myself), unless you are with a group. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out!"

"This local restaurant is a hidden gem with delicious food and welcoming staff. The portion sizes are generous and the cozy decor creates a comfortable atmosphere. One small critique is that they no longer offer fountain sodas, which is unusual for a pizzeria. Evita provides excellent service and makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Alla Vodka Parmigiana. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with an average price of $10–20 per person for dinner. "Nice room! Food was good but the service was slow and our waitress added an extra desert and beer from our friends tab on our bill. That was her story anyway... got 'em mixed up. I didn 't ask our friends but I saw they had issues with the bill as well. I am not sure but I think they had only two servers working the room, a bartender and waitress and neither one of them seemed to be in a hurry when it came to service. We had to finally ask the bartender to get the waitress to take our order. She got us our drinks but never came back for the food order. I don 't know if it is important or not but the waitress was dressed a little strange as well. She had on this long flowy shirt thing and some kind of high heel shoes that weren 't really conducive to fast efficient service work. I think she liked gliding around like Stevie Nicks Maybe it 's just me but I think if she was dressed more appropriately it might have put her in the right frame of mind to service a room FULL of people with a little more accuracy and urgency. Anyway, we 'll go back, but probably just for the music. I dunno? My hamburger was pretty good, maybe I will go back for that. One more thing... When we were figuring out the bill mistake the waitress moved in a little close and even put her hand on my shoulder. I don 't think in this day and age (old person speak) that was appropriate either. I doubt she would have liked it if I put my hand on her shoulder."

"Our server, Chris, elevated our experience at Madisons beyond my visit to other locations of this chain. He was friendly, extremely attentive and accommodating, and good at his job. You never know what you're going to get when you pick a spot in such a...prime location just across from the Bell Centre, where we had just bought tickets. My friends had this crazy idea that they wanted to re create the 6 drinks that 93 year old Queen Elizabeth II enjoys every day. So we were on a mission to find a place serving gin Dubonnet, the Queen's daily before lunch drink of choice. We started with the beautiful terrasse at Madisons. We arrived at the tail end of the lunch rush; so our server Chris was extra attentive and accommodating to our drink request. Maybe he even made the drinks himself, but he took extra care to find an acceptable substitute for Dubonnet (St Raphael) and otherwise follow the detailed recipe to the letter. Our search was over! We ordered a little food to accompany this unique cocktail: an order of nachos and a table d'hote order of a vegetarian pizza. Both portions were quite generous, especially with the cheese tasty and not greasy. It would have been nice to have add the option to add guacomole to the nachos. I also enjoyed the homemade cream of broccoli soup and brownie dessert that completed the table d'hote. Overall, I'd go back to this location before a game or a show at the Bell Centre, and I'd definitely seek out Chris. He made the experience memorable for me and my two friends visiting. "I love Marine Park Coffee. As a young person in Marine Park, I feel we were really missing a trendy place to grab a bite and a drink on the go. The backyard patio is really sweet to sit quietly. John and the rest of the staff are super friendly and accommodating they feel like old friends! I love ordering ahead of using their partner app, Odeko. "The service on the night we dined here was total chaos. I was able to reserve a table on Open Table with no wait, but walk ins were told it would be a 90 min wait. We were seated relatively quickly, was given a glass of water, and then waited for 20 minutes before anyone came back to take our order that just happened to be the host who was checking in guests at the front and was also bussing tables. There were only 4 people actually working the dining area that we could see and there didn’t appear to be any organization to who was doing what. Despite the wait to order, the food came quickly and was good, not great. Average Italian fare, good size portions. Don’t know that I’d go out of my way to dine here again."

"A great place to grab yummy seafood and enjoy a nice ambiance. The Mew England clam chowder was amazing! Relaxing and casual atmosphere. We brought our dog and sat on the patio on the second level where there is a nice view of the marina. They even had doggy treats neatly packaged for our pup (loved the customer service). "Our family to come to this restaurant. We always get attentive and quick seating at the door. There is a new menu but we all asked for the same burger, the Madison burger. It was delicious and juicy. We went with different side options and...they were all very good as well. The fries, the all dressed or what they call classic baked potato, the grilled vegetables they were all really good. We enjoyed a good time that even our six year old was extremely pleased and ate all of his burger, which is a lot to say from a kid that can eat nothing if he does not like it and he eats very little. We always enjoy coming back to this restaurant for the atmosphere."

"We were having our plane serviced at the airport next door and I relied on OT for a recommendation and the reviews were not wrong!! The food was absolutely fresh and delicious the bread was amazingly crusty and perfectly warm. We has the sole and the stuffed salmon and both were wonderful. "We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our neighbors, and we’ve been wanting to try it for years. I’m so glad we finally made the trip. We had a delightful experience. We started with a dozen clams, and wow, they were incredibly fresh, as if they had just been pulled from the ocean. Having sold hundreds of bags of clams to restaurants in the past, I can confidently say these were exceptional. I opted for the French onion soup since I always like to sample it. It was excellent, featuring a rich broth, perfectly toasted bread, and melt-in-your-mouth cheese. We both ordered the roast beef platters, which are the restaurant's signature dish and the reason we came. The beef was perfectly cooked and seasoned, accompanied by a fantastic gravy. Make sure to visit for the roast beef, and we’ll definitely return to explore more items from their classic menu. The prices are reasonable, and there's something for everyone."
