"Carlos our server was very attentive. Stir fry was delicious just a little too much sauce pooled at the bottom. Chilean Sea Bass excellent along with the wrinkled green beans , crispy rice and tuna, and Scorpion roll. The Sushi Nigiri Assortment portions were disappointing."

"Overall, my experience at this restaurant was somewhat disappointing. The main reason for this was the poor service we received. Despite having reservations for 7:00 PM and arriving on time, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be seated. This was not a major issue, but the server's behavior really affected our enjoyment of the meal. We felt neglected and the server appeared indifferent, making numerous forgetful mistakes. If the service had been better, this would have been a positive review. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, although the portions were on the small side (which seems to be a common occurrence due to Covid). The initial wait may have been due to overbooked reservations, especially on Valentine's Day. We will give this restaurant another chance, hoping that our experience was an anomaly. It's unfortunate to have to give a less favorable review due to one employee's poor performance. We are optimistic for a better experience upon our return."

"I had a fantastic dinner at Ru Sans in Rome with my husband, Bobby Cornell-Stevens, and friends Mary Causby Evans, Gerald Evans, Timothy Kelley-Hale, and Bradley Kelley-Hale. I want to publicly declare my newfound love for Ru Sans! Up until today, I was quite vocal about my dislike for this place and was hesitant to come. However, I decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did! This was the best hibachi I've ever had, and the portions are enormous—one order is plenty for two people, with leftovers to spare! The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the service was exceptional. I’m now a lifelong fan! Thank you, Packo and Cassi, for an unforgettable experience!"

"Horrible experience. Ordered around 9pm on uber eats for my wife who just gave birth. The restaurant had it preparing for over an hour. I called and nicely asked if they were still preparing the order they said they 'd been done for a while and were waiting for a driver. I told her that they have to switch from Preparing to ready so that an Uber driver can be connected with them and after much back and forth, the lady on the phone did not want to understand this/did not want to do it. After waiting over an hour and 15, we had to cancel the order because there would not have been any other way of getting the food. From this experience, I would never step foot/order from this place again."

"Despite its dark, atmospheric lighting, Kyoto was one of the friendliest and most welcoming establishments in the area. While wandering the streets, my friend and I decided to take a chance on Kyoto for some Asian cuisine, especially sushi. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting we received after our long walk. We were seated in a cozy dining area, with various seating options including tables for 2-8 people, Hibachi, and bar seating. The decor of the restaurant was mainly red and black with soft overhead lighting. Despite the busy evening, the tables were arranged in a way that it never felt crowded. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. The food was brought promptly after we ordered, with our appetizers coming first. The dishes were authentic and delicious, especially anything with Tako, which I highly recommend. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, my experience at Kyoto was fantastic, and I would definitely return for another dining experience. I highly recommend Kyoto for a romantic date night or a business meeting, as it has a captivating ambiance. Whether you are in the area or staying at a hotel, Kyoto will satisfy your sushi cravings and hunger."

"RBG was a mixed bag. In the strange inverse that often happens, the restaurant was mostly empty and yet service was really slow. The pork chop and everything that came with it was fantastic--cooked and seasoned perfectly. The artichoke dip was tangy and very cheesy, but was served with oddly-near-stale wedges of flat bread. The calamari was not crispy or seasoned at all (it comes with/in a sauce, but the sauce didn't help the undercooked feeling or the lack of season). It was also a really warm day, and there seemed to be no AC in the place, which, given it's historic nature, I guess made sense...but made it somewhat uncomfortable. All in all I would give RBG another try, though with many other places in town, I might not make it back."

"Nippon is a genuine Japanese restaurant where you can savor a satisfying meal with attentive service in a charming ambiance. While the prices of the food and drinks may seem a bit high for what you receive, you are paying for the overall dining experience. Our order included a Yellowtail Scallion Roll for $9, Tempura S for $18, and Sukiyaki L for $39, along with a Sake carafe for over $30 and a glass of plum wine, totaling close to $150 for two people. This is not your everyday dining spot unless you have the budget for it. The service and atmosphere, however, were exceptional. Despite arriving 30 minutes early for our reservation, the staff warmly welcomed us and promptly seated us in a cozy dining area separated from other patrons. This private setting allowed us to enjoy our meal peacefully. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the portions of the different dish sizes. The food was good overall, although the portion sizes may not entirely justify the prices. The Sushi roll was tasty but nothing extraordinary, while the Tempura assortment was enjoyable, especially with the flavorful dipping sauce. The Sukiyaki broth was sweet and delicious, enhancing the flavors of the tofu and vegetables in the dish. The white rice was authentic, resembling what one would find in a typical Japanese household. The meat in the Sukiyaki was a bit tough, and it did not come with raw eggs for dipping, as is customary. I recommend Nippon for a lovely and intimate meal with family or in a professional setting where you can enjoy your meal in a serene environment with attentive service."

Theres an exceptional variety of rolls which actually may be its only downfall, however you see it. But a great way to try different rolls each time you go. "We ordered takeout from The Wave tonight (02/07/2022) and tried the Back, Kamikaze, Sin Bomb, and Rallyston rolls, along with the grilled Teriyaki salmon and mac salad. Everything was truly exceptional. The flavors were great, and the portion sizes were generous. Every penny spent was absolutely worth it. The only thing my partner didn't enjoy was the wasabi, but everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"Prior to groupon purchase we called to asked if prefixed meal would be able to accommodate someone who is vegetarian, to which we were told absolutely we have many options.So we arrive,seated pleasantly and after a long wait the waitress arrives without introducing herself.We Proceeded to order our drinks.We shared we had a groupon,she literally snatched the menus and came back with the prefixed menu.I shared I was vegetarian and what she could recommend. I was told NO, you can do Miso soup or salad.Dinner had 1 option of tofu where when I asked to have it spicy I was told "nothing to make spicy you can use this sauce. "The worst restaurant ever, it's so bad I want to give it zero stars but that's not possible so I give it a one. My friend and I ended up here after visiting friends in the area. When we walked in it was pretty empty and we were sat right away. Things seemed to be going well until we got our food. It was tasteless, bad and not fresh at all in fact the spicy tuna roll is where they put their least fresh fish. The edamame lacked in flavor and the rainbow roll was disgusting. In the end the total bill was around $70 and they didn't take our credit card but got mad when we paid in cash. Staff was rude and un helpful. According to other reviews Fuji sushi has been closed down before for violating health codes, operating without a valid license from the health department and various vermon infestations. I have never had sushi as disgusting as this and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. It's time for Fuji sushi to close its doors once and for all."

"this place is definitely worth a visit and then some! I had been eyeing this place for a while, but never had them opportunity because COVID-19 got real, but luckily they opened soon after NYC started allowing dine-in at the end of last month, just intime for the first year anniversary for the wife and I! this place is the real deal when it comes to fresh authentic Japanesecuisine! the sashimi was so fresh that it melted in the mouth... the owner was kind and accommodating, as well as extra cautiousduring these troubled times. I'm not sure you can find a better Japanese sushi place in Forest Hills or Queens for that matter!"

"This is a regular place for us but it wasnt up to par this last time. The service was not very attentive and slow. Portion sizes were smaller than normal. We ordered a cooked yellowtail which was inedible, very fishy, poorly seasoned and poorly cooked. The spicy calamri we normally get was rubbery. while the sushi was fine and as good as usual everything else was subpar. Maybe they were just having a bad night but it was disappointing."

Not only that you have to pay a valet to park your car when the restaurant was basically empty. Poor idea and yet another reason I would not go back. "First off the valet at the hotel are very friendly. The wait staff at the restaurant is top notch and very friendly and understanding. We had staff check in on us no less that 6 times while we were there and it made us feel very comfortable and important. The food was a knockout, the fish was melt in your mouth creamy and the drinks were great as well. The ambiance was sublime, we sat outside in the courtyard with a view of the waterfall and the trees, it was serene and tranquil. Value for the food was also amazing. All in all a fantastic restaurant for a semi formal date or a business party. 10/10 WILL recommend"
