"I ordered the vegan drumsticks (their take on fried chicken wings), vegan potato salad, and vegan macaroni and cheese. The drumsticks were hands down the best mock meat I have ever tasted - filling, with a satisfying texture reminiscent of chicken but completely vegan. The fried coating was perfect, and the addition of a large wooden "bone" inside was a fun touch. I dipped them in their house-made ranch dressing, which was also exceptional. The potato salad was creamy and flavorful, and the vegan macaroni and cheese was delicious with a cheesy texture. For dessert, we took home a slice of red velvet cake, which was just as amazing as the rest of the meal. The cake was thick, moist, and the icing was perfectly creamy and sweet.
The portions at Nu Vegan are huge, so you'll definitely have leftovers - not that you'll mind, as the food is so good you'll want to savor every bite. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're craving some delicious vegan junk food, this is the place to go. With a wide selection of options, everyone in a large group will find something to enjoy.
