"we went to an early Sunday evening dinner and obviously, right before our arrival, some of the workers were informed that the restaurant closed in this night. our waitress was pleasant and efficient, although she had just received what she described as a surprising message 5 minutes before our arrival. the restaurant decor was very beautiful and there were many seats, the service was great and the eating was delicious. it is a shame that another place is closed."

"The atmosphere was comfortable. The hostess welcomed us. Bethany our server was dutifully attentive to her customers. If we needed something she almost intuitively was right there to meet our needs. The Pucillo Pizza was awesome. And the Calabrese Chicken Wings were very tasty. One suggestion to the Chef? The wings were microwaved and served. That makes for a very moist wing. If you mike the wings and then pop them in an oven for minutes flip them and bake them for another minute. They will come out crispy just as if they were deepfried"

"I understand it's covid and we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch. They put us in the bar area at a booth, and the waitress COMPLETELY forgot we were there. I finally went looking for her to get the check and see what seated at a booth rolling silverware into napkins, doing sidework and forgot all about us. Granted, it was quiet, since we were the only ones in the restaurant.The food what pretty typical fare, nothing exciting"

"I ordered from the website because the Doordash app was down. When I got home and tried the food, I realized it was made with chicken and uncooked broccoli, despite ordering broccoli, black olives, and fresh mozzarella as toppings. They only included a spoonful of ricotta and no other cheese. I was hesitant to call at first due to a busy schedule, but eventually did and spoke to a manager who offered to make a new one for free and even gave me dessert for the inconvenience. Apparently, they were training a new staff member. I went back to pick up the new calzone the next day and even though I had to reheat it, it was much better. I'm glad I followed up. The photos show the original calzone, but I forgot to take a picture of the new one. It looked like a typical Bertuccis calzone when I received it."

"The food at this restaurant is exceptional. Our server, Keaura, was friendly and attentive. As a vegetarian, I was impressed with the variety of options available - there were at least 10 vegetarian dishes to choose from. "I regret to write this review, but our recent experience at the restaurant was extremely disappointing. We spent $100 on a meal that was completely unsatisfactory. We had decided to visit the restaurant with our two children for a nostalgic trip before they left for college. We used to go there regularly when they were younger, but it had been a while since our last visit. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The pizza was undercooked and tasted like a well-known chain (that begins with D) but even worse, with subpar ingredients. The pasta was also a disappointment, nothing like what we remembered. Overall, everything we ordered was inedible and we were so embarrassed that we made up an excuse to leave quickly, taking the food to go and disposing of it in the dumpster behind the restaurant. It's unlikely that we will return, but I hope they can improve for their own sake. Writing this review was not enjoyable for me."

"During a visit to town with my family for a funeral, we had made reservations at this restaurant. However, upon arrival, we found that no one seemed interested in seating or assisting us. When we asked about our reservation, they appeared unaware and took their time in seating us. Once we were finally seated, no server or manager came to help set our table, take our drink order, or even acknowledge our presence. After waiting for a reasonable amount of time, we decided to leave. The restaurant was quite empty, with dirty dishes and glasses scattered around, even at the bar. It seemed like they were short-staffed and on the brink of closing down. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. The lack of professionalism and absence of an apology upon our departure left a sour taste in our mouths."

"Let 's start with what was good: the food. They 're consistent in their offerings and very good. Now the issues: 1 waitress, 1 cook, 1 front desk/take-out guy and 1 pizza cook/mgr. Dirty table so it was suggested we move to another (waitress had no time to waste wiping it). Waitress was doing it ALL (no runner, no bus boy). Brought oil for rolls 2x before remembering we wanted butter. Half pitcher of red sangria was either old or just brackish/bad. Couldn 't ask for less pasta with my entree (there 's always too much) because the cook won 't understand so this is a real problem for people with allergies, etc. Never asked how things were, if we wanted anything else, why the sangria was nearly untouched. Coupon required manager who was hard to find. We tipped our waitress well because she was simply run ragged. Sadly, unless you 're getting take out, don 't bother. This isn 't how it used to be. ps It was my birthday but since they never even looked at the reservation (there were 3 tables of people all night) that didn 't get mentioned. All I would have liked was someone to say Happy Birthday, but no..."

"Went as part of a special promotion where they were having lower prices. Even though we had a reservation they were so short staffed they couldn’t really honor the reservation. I don’t suppose it’s their fault since everyone in every industry is shortstaffed. I felt bad for all of them there, but we couldn’t wait as I had a hungry and cranky child with me. "After making a reservation on OpenTable because there were 7 of us, we arrived and they seemed surprised that we were there. The host, who I am not sure if he was the manager, never welcomed us but just looked at us and we were not even sure if he worked there-that's how awkward it was. After being seated, we ordered drinks, which took over 15 minutes to be served. We ordered food and it was nice that they asked if we wanted to be served all at the same time but I think this caused a problem with the food because the chicken wings weren't warm, the salad was wilted, and the tortellini was toasted on the bottom of the dish making it hard to eat. The service was so slow that we had to go say something about being served faster because we were headed to a show at NSMT. It was a pricy night for not having exceptional service and the food was just ok. We are hoping our next visit will be better!"

"Every few months we take the trip from Media with the kids to Glenn Mills for pizza and Skyzone to relive a special moment. Initial encounter with this establishment today was very poor. Greeting was cold and almost as if we were a bother. Our party of 9, 4 adults and 5 children were accommodated rather quickly. However, when suggesting to split the party we were told THAT IS JUST NOT HOW WE DO THINGS HERE The experience proceeded with missing menu items and rude comments that simply had no rhythm or reason. After several attempts to remedy the situation, I requested a manager and a change in waiter. Raphael took care of us after drinks and appetizers. He was taking care of the bar as well as several tables and did so with a smile and purpose. His attention to detail and diligence really changed our experience here as we really contemplated never returning to this location. The Lemon Martini is amazing, try the baked Ravioli, chicken Parm and the chocolate cake. Also all the pizza here is great for dine in."

"This was our first visit to a Bertucci's, and we had a great experience. We ordered the Sporky pizza, which had sausage and ricotta and featured a lovely thin crust. My wife enjoyed the chicken broccoli pasta with a light lemon sauce, while my daughter opted for the fettuccine Alfredo, which also had a nice light sauce. I tried the rigatoni with tomato sauce, which was packed with onions and tomato chunks. We had plenty of leftovers for lunch. This chain really impressed us, especially with their excellent service!"

"We love to take our granddaughter to Bertucci’s. She always enjoys the hot rolls and dipping oil. She ordered spaghetti and meatballs from the children’s menu. She ate some of it, the sauce was virtually nonexistent. Just a few tomato clumps on top of the spaghetti. It was not anything like sauce. We had a delicious Italian salad and a margarita pizza. The pizza used to be covered with fresh tomatoes and basil. Now the tomatoes look like the sauce that was on my granddaughter’s spaghetti. Not the best. The service was very attentive and responsive. The atmosphere was fine. We will go back, but with an Italian name like Bertucci, I think the sauce could be much better"

"We used to like this restaurant, but it 's not the same. The food quality has diminished, and they were out of the first three things we ordered. (How can an Italian restaurant be out of meatballs AND lasagna at 7pm? The staff blamed the virus and heavy takeout orders. We think it 's just poor supply management as one of the waitstaff let slip that this happens often and we should come earlier. We received gift certificates recently from friends. So we 'll have to return for another try to see if things improve."

"Wanted to take my wife out for a birthday dinner! From the start we waited for the waitress to come over to take our order. She thought what we order was easy enough. (That was the comment she made) We ordered a soda, two waters, large salad, bread and a large Ultimate Bertucci pizza. The rolls were not cooked all the way, the salad had way too much dressing! Our pizza was cold, because she had to be reminded that it was ready. We askes for fresh rolls and she told us we had to wait for them. We didn't receive the rolls until we were on are way out the door. I understand that most restuants are short staffed but it wasn't that busy. We waited from start to finish two and a half hours. We have had a couple of problems but have not waited that long and received cold pizza and dough rolls from Bertucci's before!!! disappointed!!!"
