"It was HOT for our visit to Cedar Key. We went to 1842 for breakfast and coffee. They didn't have AC, but had some good fans moving air around. The staff are very friendly and fun people. They made this experience exceptional! My Egg sandwich was the best I've had and the caramel macchiato was sooo good. We really enjoyed the place our food and particularly the staff at 1842. Highly recommend"

The best key lime pie on a stick in all of Florida! We were passing through on our way home through the keys had tried all the key lime pie on a stick in key west. This is far away better than anything you’ll find in key west. Coffee was perfect as well. Definitely a must if you’re in cedar key! View menu

What a gem!! Time spent in Cedar Key would not be complete without a stop at 1842! I lingered here my last day in town. Coffee and lunch were fresh and delicious I had house made chicken salad on croissant. The owner is super friendly and took time to chat and share history of the town and coffee shop.
